Hi I'm from Ireland, I'm about to move my male and female apistos " peacock " to a well established 70L tank with plants and 3 coconut caves I have the leaf in there too. Thing is the tank is in he sitting room it is blacked out on all there sides and there's only 2 people including myself living here its mostly me in the room so not a huge amount of traffic my question is though will even thst small amount of human traffic stop them fro. Spawning? Thanks in advance.
Hi Tina, no the traffic will not stop them. When they are ready they will spawn. Sometimes when young pairs or new parents, they may eat the first spawn, but with apistos they are normally very good parents.

Hey Eddy, yip the challenge seems to get them to spawn. They may eat the fry the first few times, but then they should be okay.
