“you can clap.... For them... If you want”
LOL
Wow, The Verge is getting all the exclusives nowadays.
Walter Isaacson did a great job.
+furiousgtz what? He had almost nothing to do with this. They didn't write a movie about the book they wrote a movie about Steve Jobs
+Mikael Blomkvist the film is based on the biography.
No it's based on steve jobs. I'm not trying to be a steve jobs fanatic I'm just explaining that this isn't harry potter. The book isn't the number one source and I doubt sorkin used it as more than an introduction to the subject. Besides that "Becoming Steve Jobs" I thought was a lot better but that's an opinion.
Look, no one except the film makers know how much of Isaacson's biography they used to create the script. I'm just saying what I have read from a lot of articles and sources such as IMDB. They have Isaacson listed as one of the film's writers because of the biography he wrote.
Thanks for the cool content! Moar please!
I'm just amazed at how bad Sorkin is at public speaking. The ahh-uhms made it almost impossible to watch this otherwise great piece. Take some public speaking lessons Aaron ! Try Toastmasters lol .
havaiemail00 The great thing about Sorkin is how much thinking he does put into words. When you do choose language so slowly and thoughtfully it comes out in most people as umms and aaahs, but importantly from his characters as these amazing lines that just work. He's the real master of intelligent characters on-screen.
+havaiemail00 I was about to say the same thing. Its about the worst I have seen. Very distracting. Can't finish half a sentence. Defiantly needs some public speaking lessons to get more comfortable. I can't believe he is talking in the same way privately.
+havaiemail00 Haha! He's a writer not a public speaker. It's obviously not Sorkin's strength. On the other hand, Boyle is a natural.
Val Kilmer looks fine these days
The guy to the right is Johnny Ive
I'm early, better think of a joke....

Of course this Nilay Patel interviews them....... This guy has wet dreams of apple
TheVerge for me has gained the monopoly of technology news lately. There's truly no competence. They are THE best at what they do.
+Adriano Muro well, I agree, they are the best at what they do.......sucking apples cock everyday.
+Adriano Muro So...I'm guessing you don't know the difference between "competence" and "competition"? Although "There's truly no competence" does make a lot of sense for your comment.
Couln't listen to Aaron's replies, terrible speaker. Other than that, interview was well done! Thank you verge!
Ridley Scott!??

um ah um uh ah um ah uhhhh ah um
shuttingupexplode2 This is a screenwriter known for his lightning pace dialogue, where his characters speak with no pauses, hesitation, or filler words and every line moves the plot along and sounds profound. Yet Sorkin himself speaks slowly, disjointedly, and uses a lot of filler sounds. How ironic,
spoiler alert...
Nilay's fake laugh though..
He didn't know the man. I don't trust those.
I think it will be a great movie showing how big of an asshole Steve was *grabs popcorn*
Really disappointed with the whole premise of this movie. If you're going to call it 'Steve Jobs' and not mention the iPhone which has literally changed the world the doesn't how much 'conflict' you have, you've failed.
No, it's about the man, not the products...
It's a fantastic film.
