It's so weird to see Michael and Aaron together after those Sony emails came out and Aaron basically saying he didn't want anything to do with Michael. I'm sure they're friends now, but it must have been awkward in the beginning.
And crazy how Leo turned down this film and now he's probably going to go head to head against Michael for the Oscar.

Leo's going to win the Oscar, so he should be happy.

+John Moran Sorkin said he didn't know who Fassbender was and that the rest of the world wasn't going to care. Then he called Fassbender a great actor. So basically, at first Sorkin didn't want Fassbender in the role, but after seeing his work, he became convinced that Fassbender was right for it.

+Stones Fan How is he so out of touch that he never heard of one of the best actors around? I don't understand. Is he not in the business? I don't buy it. "...and the rest of the world isn't going to care." That's the part that pissed me off. I can understand if he was concerned about the lead but to say that is something else. I get the feeling that many big Hollywood names don't even bother watching a big chuck of movies.

Auntkekebaby In his defence, I think it's perfectly plausible that he just didn't see Fassbender's movies. If Fassbender had been acting for decades, I would definitely call bullshit, but it wasn't that long ago that he became so well known. I even know some people who still have not heard of him, while others can recognize his face but don't know his name. So I can get behind Sorkin not being familiar with Fassbender's work. But what I can't get behind is the whole "the rest of the world isn't going to care thing". I agree with you on that. It's just such a rude thing to say.

Really surprised not a whole lot of people saw this. A little surprised to hear the film didn't get an Adapted Screenplay nomination (did have a problem with one part of the film), but that's about it; rest of it has some really good dialogue.
