      @@aflac82 I want to build an emergency lights with power bank. I wonder if there will be heat issues when we use 5v to 12v converter. By chip I mean a DC-to-DC converter?

      @@thinkingmonkey3290 I don't recall noticable heat issues. Even if there is, I'm pretty sure you can just slap a piece of metal on it with some heat conductive adhessive

      @@aflac82 was thinking about a diy emergency light. I have a 12v DC tube light (12w). If I use a 10,000 power bank & 5to12v booster I can get good backup. So was researching on the dos and don't. Thank you.
