Ray tracing performance is still better than its AMD competition for the price. 3. 12 GB VRAM allows you to use ultra textures in games. Even if you use medium settings with ultra textures, the game performs and looks really good. So, that's why VRAM is essential.

Get 12 GB rtx 3060... It's cheap and extra 4gb vram will help. Almost similar performance... 8gb vram is very limited for high quality renders and you will often face crashing during render due to out of vram memory error..

yes true speaking from experience, i havea gtx 1650 laptop and an rtx 3060 pc on the laptop i game and on the pc i use it mainly for work, on the gtx i run all the games at max settings with amd fsr 2 and its all good with 55 fps , fps games like valorant and cs go get 120 fps plus on max settings

You can do editing with any card, except if you are using Adobe, then Nvidia is supported. The second thing is gaming, and I cannot understand why you are comparing these two cards, which are not in the same segment. The third thing is that if your budget is around RTX 3060, then you can check out the non-XT version of the RTX 6700 10GB, which is nearly as strong as the RTX 3060ti. Rx 6700xt doesn't have any comparisons, and it is king.

If you are video editor definitely go with Nvidia 3060 because it has Ray tracing support which allow you to see light reflection very realist, if you are gamer then go with Amd 6400 it is much better

The 4060 was not released. And people use their gpu for 3+ years on average. So its not surprising. The stat represents what people are currently using. It does not represent what people are currently buying. I don’t think many people would buy a 3060 over a 4060 at similar price point in later 2023 and 2024 especially for 1080p gaming

I have the same CPU and I got an rx 6700 primarily to reduce my power consumption. It is a brilliant card almost equal to the 3060ti without Ray tracing. But prices have gone up so you can buy something like the 4060ti(mid range) or a 7800xt (high end)

Steam data shows current hardware people are using, not the hardware people are switching to. The list showed 1650 in the second place does not mean people are buying 1650 right now. 1060 was able to run many AAA titles and thus people never felt the need to upgrade it. Steam data is irrelevant to justify why a card is not the best deal in the current market.

The RTX 3060 12GB is far more stable than similar-performing (but not similar-priced) 8GB VRAM cards. AV1 encoding is a codec that is used to record and stream better videos; I don't know how it helps ease the editing. Also, the NVIDIA cards are still better in rendering and modeling than Adobe, as it has a wide reach with the software. Although 3060 has good VRAM, it doesn't have a good bandwidth, so I don't know why people will prefer this slow card over 3060ti, which is much better in terms of productivity. At the end, it is still capable of 1080p gaming in the latest titles with DLS. So it is a win, and I don't know why people criticize this card.

I Own RTX 3060 12 GB variant and to be honesh for a 1080p Panel its a legit GPU. Grabbed it for 26K only from Amazon and its price to perfomace is Excellecnt also. Guys Who are not getting Enough Performance might be suffering from CPU bottelneck. U need a Good CPU to take the most out of RTX 3060.

If you are video editor definitely go with Nvidia 3060 because it has Ray tracing support which allow you to see light reflection very realist, if you are gamer then go with Amd 6400 it is much better

The 4060 was not released. And people use their gpu for 3+ years on average. So its not surprising. The stat represents what people are currently using. It does not represent what people are currently buying. I don’t think many people would buy a 3060 over a 4060 at similar price point in later 2023 and 2024 especially for 1080p gaming

maybe you should go for 3070 because its gaming performance is good in 1440p but vram is a point it only has 8gb vram
RTX 3070 is a good option but you may go with RTX 3060Ti also

I have the same CPU and I got an rx 6700 primarily to reduce my power consumption. It is a brilliant card almost equal to the 3060ti without Ray tracing. But prices have gone up so you can buy something like the 4060ti(mid range) or a 7800xt (high end)

Steam data shows current hardware people are using, not the hardware people are switching to. The list showed 1650 in the second place does not mean people are buying 1650 right now. 1060 was able to run many AAA titles and thus people never felt the need to upgrade it.
Steam data is irrelevant to justify why a card is not the best deal in the current market.

AMD cards offers much better gaming performance, and also giving a very decent editing performance
which more than 95% of us will be utilising
The RTX 3060 12GB is far more stable than similar-performing (but not similar-priced) 8GB VRAM cards. AV1 encoding is a codec that is used to record and stream better videos; I don't know how it helps ease the editing. Also, the NVIDIA cards are still better in rendering and modeling than Adobe, as it has a wide reach with the software. Although 3060 has good VRAM, it doesn't have a good bandwidth, so I don't know why people will prefer this slow card over 3060ti, which is much better in terms of productivity. At the end, it is still capable of 1080p gaming in the latest titles with DLS. So it is a win, and I don't know why people criticize this card.

also if you can try, just to use 7000 series, uska Av1 encoding check karna (it's soo smooth ), personal experience of having 7800xt, i have also upgraded from 2060
