This was awesome to watch. Having spent a week at Magic Waters myself, this film encapsulates how absolutely amazing this destination is! The owners, guides and all staff are top notch. I hope to go back again someday.
Fantastic video. Thank you.
Great episode!! Dream destination!! Really enjoy your technique descriptions.
Real nice guys!
Loving this would love to travel and fish. Super expensive in UK to fly fish for trout!
Only if you go to, pay & take fisheries. As there are plenty of rivers that have trout in them. As long as you have a fishing license &, you don't fish for them out of season.
If you get the popular trout fly fishing mags, you may have read the excellent essays on guides and guiding. It may be rewarding but it ain't easy! Especially when you have beginners or semi experienced anglers/"sports" that may bring much less than an "A" game to the table. Which they are accustomed to. As long as you bring a good and humble attitude with you, you'll likely both enjoy the day.
Now imagine guiding Mark and Tom. Fantastic attitudes with skills to match. They are truly all star "sticks!"
A bigger bead with a dry fly, so it will sink faster?!
Can you fish any other way than fly fish?
No mention of the ecological disaster that took place when these non-native trout and salmon were introduced in Chili, displacing local fish species. This is a similar scenario to the invasive carp in the U.S.A...
