Some small landscape projects I think is a good idea for the winter months I have done 2 small mulch jobs with edging borders. Good to see the wood business growing.
Most of our winter work is dormant pruning: shrub trimming, perennial cutbacks, etc. Also do quite a bit of rock, mulch, installs, some pressure washing and of course leaf cleanup.
@@amosdarnall6865 yeah Amos, I need to learn to do more landscaping type projects with rock especially. Those would definitely be good to do when the grass stops growing
@@CBeason most customers seem to be fine doing those jobs in the winter. Plus it’s a lot better to do vs in the heat of summer. Always enjoy the videos
I’ve done my shop floor with epoxy, the name of the kit I get is “Rock Solid “ my 30X30 shop turned out well and still holding up well, make sure you follow the directions and it will turn out great, only thing you have to be careful is you have got to make sure that the floor is super clean, and freshly pressure washed, it will take a few days to dry out then start taping off areas, it works great I put down a lot of mulch, I do various landscape projects, I put down edging, landscape blocks, rock etc, last year was a little slow and the year before was slow but right before Covid was the best year I ever had, this year is on target to meet and or exceed 2020
@@eddieh6429 that’s good Eddie, sounds like the epoxy isn’t super hard to do assuming you follow instructions.. do you try to schedule those types of jobs ahead of time when grass slows or you mainly do them when you get them
I’d rather be a hour early than 1 minute late, I’ve never liked being late, it has happened before but not very often, I was raised to be a bit early to work, its also a Respect thing to I think, I think it shows character and you disrespect the person who pays you for being late 🤷🏻♂️

@@amosdarnall6865 exactly right, that’s my thinking those type jobs much prefer doing when it’s cooler. Good point

@@CBeason yes the epoxy is very easy, I used a paint roller and rolled it on the floor, yes I schedule everything after mowing season

@@eddieh6429 same here, I just don’t get it. Way too many people don’t care about being on time now adays. The younger generation especially..
