I work outside a lot in the spring and summer in my flowerbeds, so I’ve decided that some thing I have control over right now in my life is I’m going to tackle my basement, bit by bit. I recently had a hysterectomy - three weeks ago, and, I sadly just buried my baby brother, who was only 48 and had a heart attack, on Saturday, so I feel like I need a project… Something that I have control over, like you said. But God is good and still on the throne.
Yiska, my biggest condolences 💐 I lost my brother 2 in a half years ago and he was only 32. He was murdered. I know just how you feel, it’s a very hard pill to swallow for sure. I’m glad that you’re keeping busy but also grieving in a healthy way. And yesss, HE is still on the throne, absolutely! Take care of your self during this time♥️

I revamped my laundry room/pantry and made it more functional. But the one I’ve put off forever but have been working on the last couple weeks is our bedroom closet. Thank you for the motivation to do these things 🥰
I keep old cans and when I need to discard grease, I pour it into the van while it is still hot or liquid, then put the can into the freezer. Once the van is full, just put it into the trash can. I saw this too years ago. Hope it helps! Love your content.
Sis I just pour the grease in a bag on trash it. Your way is really clean and helpful though😊 I just have always used two bags (doubled) to get rid of the grease, thank you so much love♥️
Great video. I agree things are easier to maintain once you stay on them. I try to get rid of mail and packages as soon as I get them or within the same week.

I made the best beyond beef teriyaki stir fry that was delicious and my dishwasher is loaded up. Thank you for continuing to motivate us all!
When my daughter moved into her dorm, she filled our upstairs loft, which was her little sister's music room to keep her instruments, full of her stuff. Old books and art supplies and things I don't think she even wants anymore. It's stacked up and dusty. My task is to go through it and clean. I plan to make her remove these things. It's been two years and the rest of us want the loft back. But boy is it going to be a chore.
Omg coffee… that sounds like a lot! But I know once you all get it done (and it may take a few days or so) you’re going be glad you did. You’ll have a clean loft and opportunity to fill it with what you love♥️

Hi, Stephanie! Another hour well spent. You reminded me that I have a ton of Amazon boxes in my garage that need to be taken to the curb for trash pick-up--not that I needed reminding, because I see the mess every time I get in my car. But since I've seen how easily you not only took care of the boxes, but tackled the entire garage, i've been motivated to tackle mine. My boxes are all disassembled, I just need to move them out. When I worked on disassembling them, I sat down on a chair, which made the work a lot easier. Had I done it standing up, it would've been hard on my back. You mentioned painting, so I'm curious if you're doing that yourself, or if you're hiring it done. Have a great week!

Hey Stephanie 🥰 I would have to say getting rid of unnecessary junk mail or papers that you dont go thru enough to get rid of i have that bad but i am working on this issue because its such an eye sore when you look in a closet or draws so i have been doing it a day a week for 1 hr my goal is to finish it by the end of this month Starafoam is such a nightmare to pickup especially when there is a lot of it know you were happy when those boxes were gone😊 Then you putting the things in there just as you wanted it ✅ Love your Chucks 👟 Yes God was definitely watching over you and your daughter 🙏 And yes great idea to wait for David to be home so many crazy people!!!! I would have to say getting rid of unnecessary junk mail or papers that you dont go thru enough to get rid of i have that bad but i am working on this issue because its such an eye sore when you look in a closet or draws so i have been doing it a day a week for 1 hr my goal is to finish it by the end of this month
Starafoam is such a nightmare to pickup especially when there is a lot of it know you were happy when those boxes were gone😊

Does your area have recycling bins for boxes? If so it might be easier to take them as you accumulate them. I live in the country so I drag all mine out to my gravel driveway and burn them 😅
