Since many people are unsatisfied with the final boss theme and the usuage of non-orchestral instrument, I hope I could improve it with this dual mix.

3:44 just hits me in a way that no other Kingdom Hearts track does. Hearing that iconic music mixed into the final boss theme is just incredible.
Absolutely love this track, but unsure why they didn’t fully orchestrate it in the first place. Regardless this is awesome!
If you look at the soundtrack list, the tracks composed by Ishimoto are arranged by him too
For Shimomura’s tracks, most of them, she had someone else arrange them, most likely for orchestra
I guess he didn’t want to orchestrate them
This track is now orchestrated in the official soundtrack version.

I thought Forze Dell'Oscurita was a bit of a weird choice considering Forza Finale is just a better version. Why not just use that?

Bro you killed this! All the emotion and intensity, energy and dread I felt listening to this is how it should have felt fighting that boss and it felt incomplete. This feels so much more rich, finished and epic. I really wish they incorporate this in a future patch or something idk but this is truly epic

Nice job! The sound is much fuller and helps bridge the gap between the synths and the live orchestra of the rest of KH3’s OST.
Unfortunately the biggest problem with the final boss theme is that it is compositionally weak. It’s just “Destati” for a few bars, then “Rage Awakened,” then “Xehanort Clones.” Since they aren’t blended well, it feels like 3 totally different tracks.
Sigh lol poor old Xehanort deserved better. The ultimate dream is Yoko Shimomura one day gets inspired to compose a true final boss theme and they patch it in.

I actually really like the theme itself, but as a final boss theme of the Xehanort Saga it also disappoints me.
I want them to replace this theme with forze dell oscurita from data xehanort
Carnyzzle I was so relieved to finally hear Shimomura musical accompaniment for Master Xehanort, even though it was just a data fight... I do want the main game final boss music to be rewritten, but I’d prefer an original composition which tells the story of the battle (like “Destati” v “Dearly Beloved”). I think the new “Forze dell’Oscurita” would be a perfect replacement for the Armored X fight-the slow, menacing intro is SO much more appropriate for Master X than guitar riffs. Even though it shares themes with “Oscurita di Xehanort,” I think hearing it again without the frantic chorus would be a nice way of musically representing Master Xehanort’s expertise and discipline.
I appreciate Ishimoto’s effort, but this moment deserves Yoko’s music. Keep “Vessels” for the Clones fight as a nice break in musical styles, but Xehanort deserves the same kind of elegant, well-composed music that his other incarnations got.

The biggest problem I have with this theme is that they missed the chance to finally give MX an own theme. In BbS, he got "Black Powder", but this was more like Braig's Battle Theme, especially according to the title. Then, "Rage Awakened" played against Terranort, what is more Lingering Will's theme and a callback to his fight in KH2 Final Mix...and it never felt like it would be Xehanort's Theme. The same with "Destati", what felt more like a Ansem or Darkness theme for me and not directly a Master Xehanort Theme.
I like the idea to use "Forze dell'Oscurita" for Armored Xehanort since his theme is the forgettable of the 3 final battle themes for me.
That's why I love the part at 2:06 the most, because this is actually an original melody which feels more like final battle and could define an original Final/Master Xehanort if this part would just be longer. Maybe, "Dearly Beloved" could be mixed in in some epic way.

OMG 🔥 master Xehanort
This is amazing!
All his plans and Schemes to be defeated by Sora who was always an anomaly.
Even if he did added Sora to the calculations it's not 100%, in fact not even 50% going to work.
(Plot Armor sure)
He manages to almost one up Sora in Dream Drop Distance but that was it.
Sure some of his plans didn't work for the others, but it always works in his favor except for Sora.
I just find it fascinating that only a wild card like Sora, who is so unpredictable that even the most scheming person to date in Kingdom Hearts can't match.

Yeah, I'm guessing the idea is that rage awakened is rage against Xehanort, but this feels out of place.
@@AlphaXXI Maybe if they used RA's motifs in more instances against Xehanort it wouldn't feel so weird. As far as we know, Rage Awakened has always been Terra-to-Xehanort's theme. It plays when he mistakes Sora for Xehanort and fights him, and when he fights Terranort as Lingering Will. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a single use of rage awakened that wasn't related to Terra and Xehanort, so it made no sense to add it here outside of fanservice since it's basically the fan-favorite theme. And even then it clearly didn't pan out considering how mixed the reception was to it.
@@darkuscarlet That's exactly the problem, that I already had "Rage Awakened" associated with Lingering Will being badass, not with Xehanort by no means.

I feel like dark domantion could be a good final boss for the Xehanort saga if it was like this but sadly they were a little lazy, I don't hate the original but I feel it could have been better
I appreciate the effort and hard work, sounds better since it no longer has the awful syntheticness. But it just doesn't help the actual track from still being bland, real or fake instruments, the actual track is still a problem for me, it just doent fit as the final boss theme, let alone the final boss of the Saga. The motifs make no sense, the lack of a good original melody and climax, and the fact that it still reuses the same music from the previous two bosses makes it forgettable and dissapointing. It also lacks the charm that Yoko Shimimora has with her music (it's clear she didn't make it), I still beleave she had every right to make it. Many people have said there's a HUGE difference in quality when comparing the final boss theme and the Secret Boss theme. It's a shame really. Still, it's commendable on trying to make it work. Keep it up.
Lol, you sound like a wine taster. the original is fine. It does reuse tracks, but thats the majority of KH3 music as a whole. And as a re usable track, it's pretty stellar. And no, the "secret boss theme" aint even that great

Its actually confirmed that Shimomura didnt make this track, it was made by the other guy who also arranged the triple Xehanort boss fight.
Damien D uhm, the secret boss theme is one of the greatest themes to ever come from this series, what are you talking about? Both you and the original commenter are wrong. Every right to have the opinion you do, but the general consensus from most fans is nothing but love for the secret boss theme. Final boss theme has grown on me immensely. Just not my favorite.
