Fun fact about Snake. He's not actually teleporting. The electricity is actually his cloaking device malfunctioning like it does at the beginning of Metal Gear Solid 2, so while it looks like he was teleporting out of nowhere he was actually there the whole time.

Nahnahnah, Dr. Mario is SS tier. Hear me out:
The man solves an entire tetris puzzle right in front of you, flexing his high IQ (also it's a really cool callback to his game). He then looks up at his opponent as if they were a secondary problem compared to the puzzle. Its disrespect and flexing the galaxy brain.

How is Villager not S tier? He comes out of his house, which means he owns the land around said house right? That means that Villager permanently gets home field advantage! No matter the stage or matchup, you are the trespasser! (If it’s 2 Villagers than they are neighbours and are having a friendly dispute) He’s basically the smash version of Shrek yelling “WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP!?”. He also gets to flex his sick house in front of everyone! I bet Ridley doesn’t have a two storey house with a demon of a landlord!
Also he closes the door behind him so he’s a good boy :3
Ridley still ate Samus's parents. He could easily do the same to Villager.
But he has a fence, meaning inside the fence is what he owns, so he's like the movie up just moving his house wherever he wants!

Meta knight shoulda been higher. Unlike shiek, meta knight actually does that exact move in many appearances in the kirby series. It’s his standard entrance/exit.
Plus it uses the Dimension Cape, so we can actually tell how he did it, unlike Sheik

It plays the whole animation for every character, it just delays entry slightly and waits for the camera to pan over. If you play against ai you get the whole animation.
I dont think he realized that when someone is facing the other direction the animation needs to change to get them to the starting pose

so... samus' entrance reminds you of Spaceballs, but dark samus' entrance doesn't remind you of thanos using the space stone in Infinity War?

@ScarfFox and Friends When Roy and are on the left side of the stage they do a little turn around. That’s all I noticed.
Every Character has exactly one entrance, just flipped the other way on either side of the stage. It only appears like there are different ones, because the camera pans over to the second one after the first one, so the animation plays a bit for the second one off-screen before the camera shows it.

Ness’s intro was actually a reference to what happens if you run into something while mid-teleport in Earthbound! You run to build up speed, but if you hit something before you warp, that sort of burnt effect happens.

Ganon's genuinely looked like he just came from F smashing another dude in another game and he can't wait to do the same again.
A lot of the animations you said were different between several skins (Cloud, Robin, and the koopa kids to say the least) aren't actually different at all.
Smash bros. just delays each animation a bit and the camera isn't in sync with each one's beginning, so you were interpreting the ending of a lot of identical animations as entirely different ones.

Some of the ones you're saying are different aren't actually different. It's just a long animation and you're seeing the first half on one side, then it pans to the other side to show the other half of the animation. If you look closely at the pose just as the first one goes offscreen, you'll see the other one getting into that same pose as they're just slightly delayed from each other

The reason some characters have a "slightly different" entrance is because Player 2 (or CPU 2) appears on stage after Player 1

Dr. Mario‘s entrance is near perfect, the pills all disappear when put in columns or rows of 4, just like in his game
Pit and Dark Pit is when Palutena/Viridi drops them down sometimes
The Fire Emblem people's teleport thing is when you use the Rescue Staff on someone and when they appear that symbol appears under them
Mewtwo is using Teleport to enter the match
And 'whatever the hell that is' is Corrin's dragon form

the male and female robins are the exact same, the mii brawler always does an explosion, mii sword-fighter doesn't change from costume, alph is the same speed as olimar and also the two cloud skins do the exact same animation.
