- This board turned out way better than the last. It weighs only 4.8kg or 10.5 lbs.
Being summertime, there is not a lot of wind to go wing foiling. As i'm still learning, i need some decent wind to go ride. I have had one session on this board and it went well.
I am looking forward to some wing foil action next windy season and I will film it with my 360 camera so subscribe so you don't miss out!

update on this board, I added some volume to the tail end and installed a vent plug. Heres the video: ruclips.net/video/_ff8kXGk4ow/видео.html
Finally the DIY community comes to foiling
That’s how I make my Boogie Boards!!! Nice!!! From Recycled Soft tops!! Nice Job!!
Thanks for the inspiration.
Great idea to use an old windsurfer! I have made 3 DIY foil boards and they go great! 🤙🤙🤙
epic! thanks for watching
Nice
Your board turned out sweet! I'm building my first wing foil board, and I used the exact same blue camo grip on my dock start board that you used, which will also go on the wing foil board! Small world!
epic! thanks for watching
i would like to know how the plastic in those fin boxes will last. I like the way you put them in wood. Nice build.
Thank you! I suspect the plastic fin boxes themselves will never really break. They are made out of the same kind of plastic as any other fin box. Will report back if anything happens to this board!
fantastic. i might give it a go with my old sup. Why do people use a vacuum bag sometimes?
I think vacuum bagging gets an overall better lamination. I’m sure there’s other benefits too but I’ve never really looked into because it costs more.
@@watermancallum thanks mate
Goodnight! How did you make the resin thicker to glue the rails? I'm doing a plank but I'm afraid to let go
I used fast cure epoxy, no additives to make it thicker. The fiberglass cloth holds the resin nicely. Still had a lot of resin drip down but plenty of resin saturated in the cloth made for a good lamination.
thank you 🙏@@watermancallum
I cant believe you didnt finish the video with some video of the board in action. Larry
I would have included some riding footage if I could. I’m still learning how to wing foil and there has been barely any wind recently so I haven’t had the chance to film any wing foiling but there will be some footage in the future!
Where did you get the awesome traction pad? Aloha and Adios
I got it on Amazon. Thanks for watching👍
