This made me realize that one of the many reasons Minecraft is so popular is that it is the only real good place to do voxel based art (voxel meaning 3d pixel/cube). A good Minecraft builder cannot really transfer that skill into another platform. But that dosent mean Minecraft builds are not art because if this is not art i dont know what is
Of course it's art, like sculpting but you place down the stone instead of carving it out

That's exactly right, and what most early players said. People said it was like infiniminer, but there was less of a height limit. Infiniminer was a game that had similar building mechanics to minecraft, though it wasn't the main focus of the game. People loved building, so Notch made Minecraft's building more of a core focus of the game
This is the peak of playing Minecraft the way the developers intended.

This is beautiful, I have always had place in my heart for Minecraft Overgrown or Fantasy styles. This is like a mixture of the two. Also thank you for putting the Wait disc remix (I have no idea what remix is called) in the video. People always listen to Cat that it is like they forget about Wait.
That’s not a remix.. it’s actually the secret second half of the music disc cat, known as dog. It only plays on legacy console editions I believe

This is absolutely phenomenal! I love what the community devotes their time and effort to and seeing this just fills me with joy. This is crazy, and I wish you could release the world to download, I'd love playing this. The music selection was pretty good, as there isn't a whole lot to go off of when you need a fast pace track from Minecraft. I still can't believe that a team of people got together and made this.

i really don't know why i wasn't subscribed before this really brings back the true spirit of minecraft, after playing it for a decade i started to get bored even with mods, but your content uses normal blocks, no mods, no ressource packs and it uses the blocks in the way they're meant to be used yet its still more entertaining than 70 percent of the stuff i do in minecraft when i'm bored

for the parts that you go up, i recommend slabs (prismarine would work for the ice). otherwise, amazing job! i can see the insane amount of work that went into this, and i’d quite say it paid off!
