This guy paid so mich attention to the small details that he actually placed all the cars on the grid exactly where they qualified in the 2020 Sakhir GP
I have Minecraft on Xbox One, i might do that for some of the tracks. Maybe with some RUclipsr Championship moments added in to go along with how this included Maldonado punting Sutil, a Renault conking out, Russell's Sakhir puncture, and the Sakhir podium. Might need to figure out what materials were used to build the cars, though.

Hopefully the Abu Dhabi circuit I've been working on the past couple months will match up to this one. I've only done the track layout and part of turn 1 designs so far in my last progress update video I made. Lots left to do lol

It was probably done with some sort of tool like world painter, which helps with bulk tasks. Still very impressive and a large amount of work and creativity.

@@buddlybear no one sits continuosly for 8 days. It probably took him a month, which if you calculated the time taken to build it would be approx 8 days

They're gonna open the map file in whatever their level editor is, place a few bollards and resize some of the kerbs, and wait for the 2021 release of the game to implement these changes rather than just updating the existing game so that the tracks match their appearance from 5+ years ago.

Codemasters: we won’t add any new tracks to the game from the 2020 season (despite their facilities compared to Minecraft)
It’s not that simple, this has no elevation for starters, and there is a lot more to making a track than painting some pictures on the ground. I think the biggest thing would be the AI, they need to make sure they can navigate the circuit properly on all difficulties, they need to program in the overtaking opportunities, ERS and fuel usage, pit lane, and mistakes, just off the top of my head. There is so much more than you can imagine. On top of all that, they wouldn’t get used much in the end. The new tracks would be added, people would do a few races and then forget about them and go back to career mode, the same as the classic cars and F2 cars. To put it simply, they had very little to gain for what would be a huge amount of work. They could spend that time working on features for the next game, which I’m sure most of us would prefer.

I've been making Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina Circuit for the past couple months now! I actually posted a progress update video on my channel last week! It will be both realistic and functional (you can ride minecraft boats around the circuit too). @WTF1 if you eventually want to take a tour of the world, let me know! It will take me quite some time tho haha

7:08, ah another mod to design (if it doesn't exist already) thank you very much I will credit you when I publish it because you gave me the idea, it will take some time though like at least a year and a half probably for a good mod design of F1 cars.
You can add go kart and motorcycle and race at the circuit, or old and vanilla mode: take an horse or a pig and race
Fairly sure there's probably a mod for this that exists already.
I've tried this once, its even more amazing when you know how hard it is

It sort of seems as if it's not finished yet, also seeing as there is only one Mercedes standing on the outer loop section, where I'm pretty sure there should be two.
