Maximilian Schachmann is a cyclist from Germany who is currently part of team Bora - hansgrohe. The 26 years old cyclist joined team Quick-Step Floors in 2017. In his second year for the belgian formation he managed to win a stage in the Giro d'Italia in his grand tour debut. In 2019 Schachmann joined team Bora-hansgrohe, he got third in Liège-Bastogne-Liège and won the German national title. He started 2020 great too by winning Paris-Nice.
