It's called The Acoshaite for a reason. The damage the Acoshaite has done can not yet been seen. Just like the last jedis damage is only seen taken the movie after and shows into accounts. Everything suffers from a boring and uninspired foundation. Same will happen with the Acoshaite. Have fun building on it. People care less about the characters before watching the show than after. If they even finished it. Viewership from first to last EP fell by 95%.
Dunno why it's such a shocker for some. It was obvious before the first trailer. Neither Kennedy nor Headland are even into star wars. They wanna tell their own stories with a star wars paint and those aren't even good ones lol

This show is like the most expensive fanfiction I've ever seen.

The budget of this show vs the product they put out will forever baffle me

The show had a few good ideas but not the talent to make anything work. The fights were decent.
Reading and listening to Leslye Headland. Its clear to me. She was using Star Wars to her own views and opinions. Just read
her views on the Jedi and the Sith. Though Disney also been slowly changing the Jedi and the force, which is one reason I don't like Star Wars under Disney....
Strongly agree they don't know how to make TV series. Eight episode just not enough time. I prefer 12 or 24 episode for a season. I kinda miss having 24 episode for a season. Rewatching Babylon 5 and it's a treat.
It still boggles the mind this show cost 180m$. I think Disney investor should be asking why and how it was spent?
Was also just announce there will be no season 2. Which probably for the best. The show didn't have good numbers...

You summed up my thoughts perfectly. Like you said there really were a lot of good ideas and in a perfect world this show would have been great but unfortunately the personal vendettas and whatnot got in the way as you also mentioned. And I will never forgive them for the budget 🤦🏻‍♂️

"She was using Star Wars to her own views and opinions. "
      A) Lucas refused to let Carrie Fisher wear a bra. I mean, if that's not forcing your views and opinions then what is?
      B) The whole reason for hiring a writer is specifically that you want their opinions and views to make it into the story. We all wanted DelTorro to do the new Hobbit movie because *his* views on it where fantastical and amazingly narrating. And when Jackson took over we all blindly assumed that his vision on the material would result in "LOTR2 Going Hobbit". But it turned out that his views had changed too and we got a sh*t movie.
      C) The problem is not that Headland put her own views in, it's that she didn't take into account what her audience was expecting.
      D) And ofcourse any new starwars material is slammed before the first trailer, that's tradition by now.

@@vinny142 Have you read Leslye Headland views on the Jedi and some of her character motivations?
