Yet another outstanding Jarvis demo. Thank you. Both sound excellent, but the HiFi Duet seems to bring out everything the guitar has. Very rich and natural.
Fishman mic blend is the best hands down! No permanent modification, easy installation and removal, friendly price, no piezo harshness, possibility to play it as a heavily effect-loaded electric, ability to split the signal into 2 separate channels. And a MICROPHONE. There's just no competition.
I had the Fishman blend in my last guitar and gotta agree, its the best pickup on the market in my opinion. awesome for fingerstyle percussion work. But the Anthem is fantastic too! great natural sound through a pa system
It's a nice system but the mic is far more feedback prone than the Anthem or HiFi Duet. Fishman make good products but they haven't really introduced anything innovative since the Spectrum tech and that came out over twenty years ago.
My only issue with the Duet is that it sounds brighter and thinner compared to the Anthem. It doesn't seem to have that nice low end/warmth that I like.
Hi jarvis! Please do a deep saddle material review on tusq, FMI, and bone please 🙏I'm sure everyone is interested in learning about the impact of these materials when it comes to tone.
LR BAGGS are pioneers in realistic amplification (apart Maton and Cole Clark). I have the Anthem on my Lowden, Sj200 and a custom made Gwood, all sounds great, now I want give credit to this new product, but I’m concerned about the “feedback” resistence, no one demo I’ve heard seems to talk about. Is the new HIFI Duet sensible to feedback issues? Thank you🙏
I would say the Anthem still has an advantage for those that play with a band, you would need that piezo Undresaddle... But the HiFi duet would be a more natural solution of replacing a mic, still not quite as the sound of a Studio Mic, but closer to that and a mix of some non harsh piezo ( in the K&K transducers type of amplification).
Anthem by far. Much warmer, more dynamics, note separation and an overall fuller sound. Duet sounds too airy and slightly muffled. Also no sparkle or lows.
Did you know that if you don't want to invest in a new pickup, you could just improve yours? Here is what I did: ruclips.net/video/ry-Oa6PwzgY/видео.htmlfeature=shared , so I got the best of both worlds: instead of harsh piezo, a natural K&K Pure Mini style of sound but active... And a mic blend

Your mic is the best!
Duet sounds good… Definitely gonna try it out when a grab a new acoustic.

HiFi is way too thin. Lacks bottom. Anthem wins
@@LuckyJAmbrose if you want a huge bass response then the anthem is the one
