Does a social security payment offset (OPM) include any payments for dependents? For example if I was getting 1600 for social security disability and my child was getting 800, would the offset for OPM purposed calculation entail 1600 or 2400?
Your high 3 is the average of your highest consecutive salary over three years, not what you potentially could have been making. The offset would only be for your SSD, not your child's SSD or combined SSD!
