Well, no. I love Within Temptation. And all the more because they are Dutch and I am half Dutch.
I also understand that extended loud noises will damage my ear drums. When you're young and ignorant, it's easy to imagine you will always be young and healthy. Lots of people with diabetes believed they could drink all the Coca Cola and eat all the pizza and fries they wanted to.
Yup on the speakers when i am working out in my home gym, lifting some heavy iron, screaming and hyping myself to the max with songs from within tempation. Fuck the neighbours!
My neighbors must be able to relate to yours... There are specific neighborhood-education days in a week xD Not just WT but other bands as well...

"BREAKAWAY from the dark" is in reference to the (at least concept of a) breakaway-civilization. At least that is some of my personal take :) Lyrics mean different things to different people.

Heartfelt song! The music, the band is amazing. The talent in these guys is awesome. And Sharon seems to take that talent, that drive, and channel it into emotion fueled vocals that really grab you. No question that she can sing. But lots of artists can sing. Very few can vocalize that power and emotion like Sharon!

This song has more clicks than most other tracks from the album because it’s the best. This is the Within Temptation we love, the great band that gave us The Unforgiving. Enough with those drowning rhythms, go with good old rock rhythms.
Wow! What a fantastic song. I have to admit right now - the videos you do for all of your songs are better than most of the full length movies I have gone too see, and better than just about all the commercials on the air. Your videos are just drop dead incredible. You tell such a full story in such a short amount of time. Whoever puts your videos together, please tell him/her or them that they are at the top of their game and should be really proud of the work they do! Seriously fantastic. So far, I haven't listened to one song by your group that I haven't really liked or loved. How do you do that? Just one hit after another. One of my favorite songs is "The Whole World is Watching." I love Within Temptation. They are my favorite band and I bought their abulms resist, the unforgiving, hydra, and the heart of everything. They are awesome. My favorite songs are paradise, faster, dangerous, let us burn, shot in the dark, in the middle of the night, supernova, the reckoning, mad world, titanium, radioactive, sinead, the whole world is watching, what have you done, and stand my ground. Within Temptation rocks.

It's interesting how, no matter how political WT's songs get, they remain vague and never call out specific people or take sides on controversial issues. This is smart, and I applaud them for not alienating large segments of their fan base by getting preachy about the issues.
