If you can find this gem by Gary....you better get it. I have it on vinyl. I remember having it on cassette when I lived out in Houston Texas back in the early 80's. I wore that sucker out. Found it years ago in an old record shop. Highly recommend this album. What a great loss for country music. It's a shame.
Hard to believe how much pleasure his voice and songs brought to millions .. …he was fighting demons inside. Just don’t understand why such talent has to come at such a price😢

Have seen Gary back in 80s at Ol Top Rail and bunch of other c&w venues...he sat at our table several times and we bought him some shots...super nice guy...wrote most of his stuff and co wrote w Dean Dillon...good stuff
The old Top Rail in Dallas??? My band and me played there several times in the 90's. Great old honky tonk! As a matter of fact, that's where I was on the night he died. The manager came out of his office and told me. What a sad day. I believe it was 12/16/03.
