Classic RTS action meets modern production and performance in Tempest Rising. Inspired by RTS greats of the 90s and 2000s, Tempest Rising is a classic, base-building real time strategy game set in a modern day alternative history war scenario. It features 3 unique factions, each with its own approach to combat and economy and offering a variety of strategies for players of all stripes, deep and rewarding gameplay that keeps a focus on strategy while rewarding skill, and built-in customization options that allow players to approach the game their way in both single player and multiplayer game modes.
Take on the role of Commander in the highly mobile and advanced peacekeeping corps of the Global Defense Forces or the hard-hitting and desperate Tempest Dynasty in 2 11-mission campaigns that allow the player to customize their army for each mission, as both armies seek to understand and control the mysterious but beneficial Tempest vines that grow unchecked across the war-torn planet Earth. Other dangers wait in the shadows, as the origin of the Tempest is revealed...

Thank you very much for kind words, It is really one top of my most anticipated upcoming RTS games, It scratches all those classic C&C Vibe itches, from improved visuals, cool units soundtracks and game play!
Very excited for this one.
I love their appearance. Solid and simple vehicles with either a lot of armour or weapon dmg outputs, 'plans' which further improve units or economy and 'drill' building style ( they can put their buildings anywhere) and are solid too.Their infantry section may be weaker if we compare each group of units with GDF but they are simple in purpose and can be build in mass ( cheaper than GDF and more fire power).
Yeah DYNASTY is my fav faction so far.
I have already brainstormed some build orders.
With rushing out guards and overcharging the barracks
To boar tank push with a specialist to buff my tanks.
I love their style alot
Also love that there are so many different units! it will make the meta and each game crazy, allowing for players to create their own playstyles

Lot of buildings support powers' specialist units and plans will allow for a wide variety of gameplay style and fun unique matchups.
Oh man I'm so happy we get both Walls and Gates! Love making my base look good but also functional/defensive

My speculation is either tempest mutated creatures or some high tier ronotic AI faction.
But all speculations for now

Can't wait, I really hope they will have ladder and full supported multiplayer matchmaking like SC2 but tied to steam account so the best players don't just grind n00bs, not that I'm good but even if I'm stuck in bronze league the game looks so much fun.
Yeah for sure' that would be epic! The devs did mention it will have full ranked ladder and multiplayer.
The only thing i can hope for is that it runs as smooth as starcraft.
And agree it would be great to have ranked profile linked to steam.

I have a question. Are there any artillery units from DYNASTY? I know GDF has a Trebuchet as an artillery unit. But where's Dynasty's own artillery unit? (I'm a beginner in Tempest Rising)
Not that we have seen, besides the flying Artillery chopper.
