With all respect, the genocide of Palestinian men, women and children is "an unsavoury and unappetizing" thing too. Labour were too slow to call for a ceasefire, and lacked moral courage in my humble opinion.

It is not just the tories...a lot of us on the left have a real problem with the fact less people voted for Starmer than Corbyn in 2019 or 2017. It does look you people can only win by subverting democracy in some way.

This country does not need politicians elected for a stand on an issue in another country. We need people that are doing what’s best for the people in this country. We need to keep our nose out of world politics and put this country in order before we think we have a right to start giving advice to others.

-Uses islamophobia as a tickbox exercise via the Guardian - check.
      -lies about religiosity - check.
-says "the NHS is broken" and gets headlines for saying something everyone can plainly see - check.
-has serious anger management issues - bullying Diane Abbott - check.
-Calls a life-long MP, who is fundamentally a decent man at heart, Jeremy Corbyn, "senile" after getting elected - check.
-Swears prolifically and is extremely rude on right-wing outlets (GBNews) - check.
-Nice and cosy with Rupert Murdoch's media establishment - check.

500 is very close. It's the sort of slim majority that leads to a vote recount. Wes Streeting came perilously close to joining his Labour colleague, Jonathan Ashworth, who lost his seat by around 1,000 votes. He was beaten by a pro-Gaza Independent candidate, which some are saying was the 'shock' result of the election. Even this majority of 1,000 is considered 'close'.

There is a difference of course - your party until recently was led by Corbyn, and that sets you quite different to my party. But what is Starmer going to do differently? At least when the Tory Party implements Tory policies, that's the natural order of things. I think it's you who's going to be very disappointed if you think Starmer's going to actually do anything. It'll be like Blair in the end, his own party damning him.

We need an open-list proportional representation system or as it's known Panachage. This is the one issue all opposition parties should be pushing continuously and actively encouraging protests over. The left and right who can't stand Labour or the Tories need to stop arguing for a while and deal with the voting system. Get that sorted and change will come rapidly as Labour won't last 2 years in power. Come on, you actually think a party who puts Lammy as foreign secretary (the male Diane Abbott) is going to magically sort out Britain haha no chance. That's delusional thinking. 80% of eligible voters didn't vote for Labour. Problem is a lot of lazy people didn't vote either. Shame on you. Also shame on 17million+ Brexit voters who didn't even attempt to make change election day. I don't care about being in the EU or not, but Labour will now rejoin without consent and do it in little steps. Freedom of movement, military alliance, you watch it happen.
