Great Job Ivy. We are addicted to your videos. My girls and watch you and really enjoy every single one. Thank you for being such a positive influence. Don’t let the people get to you that talk about your accent. I’m from TN and it was brutal when I moved up to Wisconsin. Back in the south now Praise be! ❤️

I was born in Georgia and have relatives on the Georgia/Alabama border. I know for a fact that she is genuinely Southern! I love her! Keep up the great work! What a dream job that would be to work for Southern Living! It's always been on my momma's coffee table too and now it's on mine! 💖🤗

Awww! Loved this! I grew up with Southern Living Magazine on the coffee table too! And it was the first magazine I subscribed to when I moved out and started my own home. I will admit I had a hard time adjusting when SL changed the binding (was the old way called saddle stitching?), but thank goodness the content remained stellar! And now I'm a digital reader, although I do prefer sitting with a cup of coffee and the printed version. This seems like a dream job!

Dukes Mayo is the only mayo that should exist. I'm from Ohio, and no one here knows about Dukes... at least no one I know. Also, I want your job, it looks SO fun!

So chicks from the south also speak with the fry voice thing and the upward tone at the end of every sentence.
    So annoying.

Hi Pablo. Ivy grew up in Moultrie, Georgia and now calls Birmingham home. She's authentic as they come! And we love her accent.

@@southernliving thanks for the answer. I like the southern accent. I just didn't know that the fry vocal and the upward tone affectations were present in the south too.

R C You are so wrong. I find her accent reassuring. I wasn't sure if the younger generation still sounded "Southern." Yes, they do!
