    Thanks for the walk through. Gonna make something similar but instead of a cigar channel im going to have a pipe stand.

    Just made mine. Simple square piece made of oak. Used ting oil. So far holding up just fine. Slight burnt on the groove that holds the cigar. Thanks for the video. It helped me out.

    Just made a black walnut ash tray. Olivia Melanio is a cigar aficionados #1 stick. Padron is my go to stick.

    Nice work. I like the live edge and the texture- as a wood turner, texture is usually something I have to add, not remove :)

    Nice video. I’ve been looking fir ideas on a simple ashtray. So far my favorite cigars have to be Oliva Master Blends 3 or Drew Estate Liga Privada Unico Year of the Rat.

    Four kicks mule kick and Tennessee waltz both by crowned heads out of Nashville TN. Both are limited runs every year. Killer smokes if you run across em.

    Currently working on an ashtray similar to this made of curly maple- this looks really nice!
    If you can find them, the Arturo Fuente Opus X Oscuro Oro line is absolutely mind blowing. Don’t spend more than $18-20 on it though, even that much of a luxury cigar isn’t worth the $30-50 some retailers are gouging them out for

    Very cool man. I hope to create something similar. I really enjoyed a Perdomo Champagne 10th anniversary the other night. It's mild, but if that works for you it's very nice.

      Practice and try to get as smooth as possible with your knife or chisels

      From start to finish was about 2 hours. Very good project to do on a Saturday morning with a good cigar and cup of coffee.

    Nice job, I think I'm gonna make a couple for me and my buddies.
    Right now I really like the La Gloria Cubana Serie N. It's a medium body that's dark and smooth.
