Never heard of this, but super glad to hear it now. I just got into a band called Altin Gun and this is going to pair really well with that in my playlists.

    Their clothes is not religious.
It's their culture because they are Twareg people (berber/Amazith) they wear it because they live in Sahara so they need a protection from storm and sun.
They are singing with one of the oldest language in Africa.
And Twareg Music is one of the oldest music in the world.
I advise you to have a look on Bombino or tinariwen..the same music genre Touareg with a different style.
By the way Touareg people are very famous by their ability to play Guitar...the assouf guitar which is a very special technique

Many cheap guitar available in my store. Some from famous guitarists to. Some a bit more expensive, signed by famous persons. But all who sold it to me said they don’t want to play guitar anymore. And I asked why? The answer was, there is a guy named Mdou Moctar, from Africa who would do all the great guitarists in the past look like amateur kids try to play a guitar!!!

This is typical Tuareg music. There is a whole genra called Desert Blues. In particular Agadez (the city where M'dou Moctar is from) actually has a very strong musical culture, people play guitare everywhere, it's part of their culture and identiy. So, no, it is not against local cultures, quite literally the opposite, this is the product of local Tuareg culture and music.
Also, the scarfs are not religious, they're traditional tuareg scarfs that are used to protect from the sun and sand in the Sahara desert.

Touareg (amazigh people) are famous for this kind of music/guitar. Touareg are not know for their 'strict' islamic belief. The majority of touareg enjoy music and guitar.
