G'day mate you just went through my home town Ohura awesome thanks for the video, from Qld Australia 🦘
That is so awesome mate. Really enjoyed visiting Ohura. Makes my day getting a comment like that. 👍 thanks for watching cheers
A fun ride by the looks of it and one I look forward to doing with wifey cakes at some stage. I really want to ride through Ohura just to experience the emptiness of it. A friend of mine's brother used to live there in the old bank and he told us about it. We hoped to pass through last weekend on a motorcycle trip we did from Auckland to New Plymouth, over to Rotorua, then back to Auckland, but we ran out of time. Thanks for sharing :)
Cheers mate, sounds like you enjoy a long weekend ride as well. Yeah those old railway ghost towns are amazing, so rewarding to get off the main roads even if there is a lot of goats, sheep, cows to watch out for. But going slow is fun too.
Thanks for the comment mate, enjoy your riding and hopefully meet on the road. cheers Dean
That's an awesome place with an outstanding road to get there. Cheers for sharing
Thanks Man appreciate the comment, I think it's the fourth time I've ridden that road over the years, and it never gets old. I would like to visit the Bridge to Nowhere but not too sure how to get there, just keep thinking how tough the pioneers were.
@@deandoctordavidson absolutely
Cool video mate. We have to do more up there one day. Good to have ya back home soon
Cheers Bro, trying to make the most of it, 4 weeks to go then back to the mainland, plenty more roads up here to ride and explore, it will be done.
And you say I'm not good at directions 😂
Hi Sis, thanks, I was worried about having to push the bike if we ran out of petrol xx
