Forgotten World Highway - come for a ride deep into deep into the King Country to a place forgotten.

Boys get on the bikes and head south, Harley Davidson Sport Glide and two BMW R1200 head into the isolation of the King Country to ride the forgotten highway. Big hills, tight corners, wandering stock and dogs, gravel roads, road food, amazing views, friendly locals, good mates make up this vlog. King Country North Island New Zealand. Aotearoa.

A fun ride by the looks of it and one I look forward to doing with wifey cakes at some stage. I really want to ride through Ohura just to experience the emptiness of it. A friend of mine's brother used to live there in the old bank and he told us about it. We hoped to pass through last weekend on a motorcycle trip we did from Auckland to New Plymouth, over to Rotorua, then back to Auckland, but we ran out of time. Thanks for sharing :)

Cheers mate, sounds like you enjoy a long weekend ride as well. Yeah those old railway ghost towns are amazing, so rewarding to get off the main roads even if there is a lot of goats, sheep, cows to watch out for. But going slow is fun too.

Thanks Man appreciate the comment, I think it's the fourth time I've ridden that road over the years, and it never gets old. I would like to visit the Bridge to Nowhere but not too sure how to get there, just keep thinking how tough the pioneers were.
