Good you said "old 4chan". Nowadays 4chan is to Reddit what Florida is to New York. Reddit f(ool)s think they're morally superior to 4chan, yet they spend more time on 4chan because they love that they can say spicy words. Just like liberals in NY pretending Florida is this place full of crazy rednecks while constantly going down there to vacation because they love the freedom but dont want to admit it. The small subreddits are why the platform has value. Can't be too big of a powertrip mod when nobody gives a shit about your little space. You can always create a new one. There is only one small subreddit I used to use that became insufferable, and I can avoid it now because it is contained and separate from everything else. Everyone who complains about reddit just doesn't know how to use it to fit their needs. You can literally curate your frontpage and remove all of the defaults that are known to be toxic and/or up their own ass. As an analogy: on reddit, I can find the eye of the storm where there is peace if that's what I want. 4chan is chaos and destruction basically everywhere, and sometimes I enjoy it, but I'm always along for the ride, and don't really have control. All of worst memes get filtered out by the time they get to reddit too, so that's a plus.
A surprising number of them are emotionally soft, and like to morally grandstand on others; despite the fact they are using a platform that hosts literal snuff content. Reddit doesn't make memes they run memes they stole from 4chan into the ground. They are like that annoying brother that hears a joke and just repeats it for attention over and over
I saw a reddit post of someone accusing Pippa of being a Neo Nazi and I looked at every link they posted to sustain their claim Besides her little endorsement of Kiwifarms, a lot of it was just her laughing at awful jokes her chat made. It was all jokes.
All of the shit that gets attributed to Pippa saying is just someone in chat saying and she laughing at it. Even the things she "says" its her reading chat.
bruh if she laughs about a fucking George Floyd Joke I don't even care if she straight up endorses it or not. that laugh tells me enough, she's fucked. plus all the other stuff she does, the casual antisemitic dog whistles she drops, the weird obsessive hate against federal agents or Twitter, something that's very characteristic for alt right freaks. and let's not pretend like you guys don't notice, I see so many of her fans write "based" whenever she gets those accusation. that's case closed for me.
My favorite thing to come out of reddit was a guy talking about arguing with another guy about food, and the second guy followed him and harassed him wherever he posted. So the first guy looked at the second guy's profile to see where he spent his time, and it was a bunch of piss stuff, specifically drinking it. He was like "I've spent months arguing about the finer points of cuisine with a man who recreationally drinks his own and others' piss. What am I doing with my life?"
I left Reddit after 11 years because I realized it became something so far removed from what I originally knew it being that I came to the conclusion the only thing keeping me around was literally Stockholm Syndrome.

Not really, it's just she is really easy to love, since she markets herself as, and is factually a /vt/ poster who just happened to pass the audition. So obviously, a lot of people like her, which leads to oversaturation of Pippa posters. That's why she has a containment thread.

Reddit is not a good place for discussion, the whole upvote downvote thing nukes discussion. It doesn't take that many downvotes for a comment to get hidden, so people who don't like a view point are incentivized to hit that down vote button as soon as something bothers them. That being said, I find it's a good site for getting answers. People on reddit tend to have a couple topics they know a lot about, and really want to provide good answers for.
Vshojo is just a bunch of e girls that got into vtubing. Literally none of them are actually talented Nyanners trash talking 4 Chan is also rich given she used to be a proud visitor back in the good ol days

@@shadowfox2300 I mean, Hololive poached some big ass fish, or at least EN did, so saying that Hololive gives you a free crowd is only very technically true in the sense that it's not 100% guaranteed that someone who built up an audience can do so again from scratch. Reddit is good for exactly 2 things, looking at the idiots and schizos and getting a laugh out of them, or searching for solutions to extremely specific problems posted by some dude 7 years ago
Reddit's really gone down the tubes. Don't get me wrong, 4Chan's always been the more free and fun of the two, but reddit had pretty fun corners itself and was overall more chill/libertarian back in the day. But ever since like 2015 reddit's gone absolute psycho mode, banning every remotely dissident subreddit, a list that is now thousands long. I seriously think that the US government is deep in bed with reddit - I just refuse to believe that the total shift in ban philosophy was organic "wokism" or a "serious business decision" as countless people claim. The only people that still use reddit regularly these days are some pretty sorry creatures who only fall farther and farther into their unchallenged psychosis. I think this explains the extra goofiness that you see from "reddit people" today - they literally have no input from the based crowd to knock more sense into them because all those people got banned.
About time she's mentioned all this nonsense people are spouting about her being politically aligned with them whenever she says something basically anyone sane already thinks but won't say out loud. Dunno why it always seems like folks on the internet, Americans especially, are so desperate to find someone who'll agree with their horseshit opinions that even a vtuber making jokes is /ourguy/.
in terms of politics, i've only ever seen it in /pcg/ and whatever the fuck the vshojo board is called. But yeah, some people have the inability to form their own opinions. This is why many content creators hate being called based. vt is kind of an exception tho, you still have clowns from pol try and takeover threads in other boards like /g/
The reason why is the West, and ESPECIALLY the US is in turmoil and split between world concepts. It's not like in the 1800s where most countrymen mostly all had the same values and ideals. I have more in common with rando non western foreigners than I do with most my neighbors. There is no unity, we are in all regards at war, so naturally people are desperate to see what uniform you are wearing.

Yeah, r/minecraft and r/art should what awful people reddit mods are (awful being the rule, good/nice ones being the exception)
Yeah, only the small obscure she remains pure and unnoticed. Anything too popular gets co opted
Why is punkalopi in the thumbnail when it has nothing to do with her?.

I saw a reddit post of someone accusing Pippa of being a Neo Nazi and I looked at every link they posted to sustain their claim
Besides her little endorsement of Kiwifarms, a lot of it was just her laughing at awful jokes her chat made. It was all jokes.
All of the shit that gets attributed to Pippa saying is just someone in chat saying and she laughing at it. Even the things she "says" its her reading chat.
@@AzeharaCh yeah laughing ain't endorsing. And iirc, she is for things like trans rights.

My gut told me "this is where people can't think" on second 1 of me knowing Reddit exists
to paraphrase Kirsche, Reddit is an ocean of piss that everyone else keeps pissing in, or something to that effect.

It all went downhill after Chairwoman Ellen Pao got into power.
Ironic that she's seen by brainlets as the 4chan chuuba but the /vt/ board is already getting sick of people posting about her. In fact, they usually support people who don't have 4chan-like, edgy views and humor.

P i p k i n
About time she's mentioned all this nonsense people are spouting about her being politically aligned with them whenever she says something basically anyone sane already thinks but won't say out loud. Dunno why it always seems like folks on the internet, Americans especially, are so desperate to find someone who'll agree with their horseshit opinions that even a vtuber making jokes is /ourguy/.
4chan isn't political in the first place. /pol/ is one board. Talking about politics anywhere else will lead to you instantly being clowned on.
in terms of politics, i've only ever seen it in /pcg/ and whatever the fuck the vshojo board is called. But yeah, some people have the inability to form their own opinions. This is why many content creators hate being called based. vt is kind of an exception tho, you still have clowns from pol try and takeover threads in other boards like /g/
Nah Pipkin is a well respected National Socialist, she even comes to the meetings.
