Not everyone can watch livestreams because timezones. A bunch of people watch Pippa's vods. Even so having a 1% CCV to Sub ratio is HUGE. Look at some of the Hololive girls that have 1M subs and get 3-4k CCV. If you can manage to get 300-500 CCV consistently you can probably dedicate yourself to full-time streaming.

I kinda like the homely-ness of smaller companies like Phase. Even some "bigger indies" don't feel as homely anymore due to them obviously being so big now.
I do understand where she is coming from. Gen 1 and 2 girls have put a ton of effort into their streaming and she does feel like she is no different than the other girls despite blowing up really hard these last 5-6 months. She has appealed to a group of people that most other vtubers have ignored though. Her community as wild and unhinged as they may seem are very loyal and supportive.

what exactly do you have to do to reach monetization on yt and twitch? and is there some sort of easy list on what to do/don't do to avoid demonetization?
On youtube I believe you have to have 1000 subscribers before you qualify for monetization To become a Twitch affiliate, I beileve the streamer needs to average 5 viewers per stream. Once they do that, they are eligiable for things like ad revenue, subscritions, bits, etc... But they can also make money through donations, Patreon, etc... As for demonetization, RUclips has a list of things to avoid doing, but it's ultimatly a gray area for everything.
On YT you need 4000 public watch hours and 1000 subscribers. Pretty steep and a lot of people don't meet that within a year. On Twitch you need an average of 3 viewers over 24 hours worth of streams, and 50 followers. You can achieve this in a week. For RUclips it's the subscriber hurdle. You'll probably have way more than 4000 public watch hours by the time you hit 1k subs. Personally, I think they should lower the requirement.

You use Shorts from your content to get subscribers and then go for the 4000 hours because getting subs from videos is insanely hard but with shorts it's pretty easy. When I was actually doing original content and not the lazy content I'm doing now. I could spend 1 to 2 months making a video which would get 80 views and 2 subscribers but, the shorts of it would get me 40+ subs and a few thousand views...no one from the shorts would go and actually view the video but hey subs are subs.

Most of my thumbnails are AI (its so much easier). I started using AI on November 2022 for my thumbnails. Before that I used to manually edit existing fanart. To avoid any issues of some random artist getting butthurt im editing and using their art without permission (its impossible to ask for permission in most cases) I opted to use AI.

Pippa is correct, no one cares about Phase Connect as a company, the fact that it has taken them over a year to make one outfit and over the last 2 years has only secured on sponsorship speaks to their in competence. Phase has censored Pippa's content to try and remain brand safe for no real economic gain. Kirche has sponsored streams all the time and talks politics, she literally talked about the Nashville shooter the day it happened. Phase management said Pippa can't collaborate with Reikata because he isn't brand safe. Meanwhile Reikata has 2-3 sponsorship a stream now. Pippa is never going to stream Hogwarts again. She is going to start losing views as she makes less edgy content. Here numbers went up due to all the shared clips from the deleted VODs. Pippa has even stated her clip about 3d printing guns went viral. I would love to be proven wrong but the analytics suggest this trend is starting.
Kirsche is an indie. Phase is a company with many members that offer a wide variety of content and they dont want to push too hard into political content when politics often help divide people. As for sponsorships, the girls have gotten some sponsored streams but as they often say, they dont want to play or take sponsorships they dont like. I am sure that Pippa has been approached by Raid Shadow Legends and Hello Fresh.

This kayfabe strategy is not helping build brand loyalty. Your arguments phase connect actively saying now to Raid or Hello Fresh is also a point against them. These companies find streamers to sponsor through Streamlabs. Streamlabs taking a commission off these deals is how they can offer their services to streamers for free. So the fact that Phase's only efforts in acquiring sponsorships is in turning them down is proof that Phase offers little services. looking at what little information is know about the financials of Phase connect it is becoming more a more obvious that this comply was started by a CEO with third-party funding, like a trust fund, and an unrealistic business model. Once they run out of funding phase will go out of business like, many other western vtubber agencies have already done this. Also the fact that the one few deal phase connect seems you have done is with Wonder AI is also suspect. I looked into this company awhile ago none of their public-facing profiles suggest they have any experience with AI or machine learning. The demo WonderAI presented was literally an unfinished unity and the AR the presented at Vons is literally available on the Unity asset market. They could have at least attempted something cool like leveraging the A-frame JavaScript framework to have Pippa appear on people's phones. Signs point to Phase Connect being a mark for WonderAI not a client.

@@migueltucabron I agree: I know one streamer guy who, before Twitch, did funny reviews of games on RUclips, gained an audience like that, and when he moved to Twitch, he was watched by 45-70k viewers online. So being a girl doesn't automatically mean being more popular than guys.

what exactly do you have to do to reach monetization on yt and twitch? and is there some sort of easy list on what to do/don't do to avoid demonetization?
On youtube I believe you have to have 1000 subscribers before you qualify for monetization
To become a Twitch affiliate, I beileve the streamer needs to average 5 viewers per stream. Once they do that, they are eligiable for things like ad revenue, subscritions, bits, etc... But they can also make money through donations, Patreon, etc...
As for demonetization, RUclips has a list of things to avoid doing, but it's ultimatly a gray area for everything.
On YT you need 4000 public watch hours and 1000 subscribers. Pretty steep and a lot of people don't meet that within a year. On Twitch you need an average of 3 viewers over 24 hours worth of streams, and 50 followers. You can achieve this in a week.
For RUclips it's the subscriber hurdle. You'll probably have way more than 4000 public watch hours by the time you hit 1k subs. Personally, I think they should lower the requirement.

@@BRBingeDrinker I'm not saying you focus on shorts, because 10 million does seem impossible (honestly if I didn't just get 1.5 mill views in the last 3 days I would still think it's impossible). You use Shorts from your content to get subscribers and then go for the 4000 hours because getting subs from videos is insanely hard but with shorts it's pretty easy.
When I was actually doing original content and not the lazy content I'm doing now. I could spend 1 to 2 months making a video which would get 80 views and 2 subscribers but, the shorts of it would get me 40+ subs and a few thousand views...no one from the shorts would go and actually view the video but hey subs are subs.

It's hard to grow on youtube starting out, especially now. So I can see her struggling to find a niche back then.
Honestly though I feel like its more of a marketing problem more than anything. If you dont expose people to your content, no one will go out of their way to see it. Titles, Thumbnails and Tags also work really well early on.

Most of my thumbnails are AI (its so much easier). I started using AI on November 2022 for my thumbnails. Before that I used to manually edit existing fanart. To avoid any issues of some random artist getting butthurt im editing and using their art without permission (its impossible to ask for permission in most cases) I opted to use AI.

Pippa is correct, no one cares about Phase Connect as a company, the fact that it has taken them over a year to make one outfit and over the last 2 years has only secured on sponsorship speaks to their in competence.
Phase has censored Pippa's content to try and remain brand safe for no real economic gain.
Kirche has sponsored streams all the time and talks politics, she literally talked about the Nashville shooter the day it happened.
Phase management said Pippa can't collaborate with Reikata because he isn't brand safe. Meanwhile Reikata has 2-3 sponsorship a stream now.
Pippa is never going to stream Hogwarts again. She is going to start losing views as she makes less edgy content. Here numbers went up due to all the shared clips from the deleted VODs. Pippa has even stated her clip about 3d printing guns went viral.
I would love to be proven wrong but the analytics suggest this trend is starting.
Kirsche is an indie. Phase is a company with many members that offer a wide variety of content and they dont want to push too hard into political content when politics often help divide people.
As for sponsorships, the girls have gotten some sponsored streams but as they often say, they dont want to play or take sponsorships they dont like. I am sure that Pippa has been approached by Raid Shadow Legends and Hello Fresh.

These companies find streamers to sponsor through Streamlabs. Streamlabs taking a commission off these deals is how they can offer their services to streamers for free.
So the fact that Phase's only efforts in acquiring sponsorships is in turning them down is proof that Phase offers little services. looking at what little information is know about the financials of Phase connect it is becoming more a more obvious that this comply was started by a CEO with third-party funding, like a trust fund, and an unrealistic business model. Once they run out of funding phase will go out of business like, many other western vtubber agencies have already done this.
Also the fact that the one few deal phase connect seems you have done is with Wonder AI is also suspect. I looked into this company awhile ago none of their public-facing profiles suggest they have any experience with AI or machine learning. The demo WonderAI presented was literally an unfinished unity and the AR the presented at Vons is literally available on the Unity asset market. They could have at least attempted something cool like leveraging the A-frame JavaScript framework to have Pippa appear on people's phones.
Signs point to Phase Connect being a mark for WonderAI not a client.
