Eviltoaster was a bum that leeched off Vshojo hard. Mainly Zen in fact he was in a stream with her RIGHT before this news dropped.
Despite constantly collabing with Vshojo his numbers haven't really gone up much which goes against what he says.
and after words hes now doing nothing but spewing venom agasint zen for not "backing him up" and agreeing with everyone this was dumb and he was being crepmaxxin.

@@kitsune-koibito I didnt know who this dude was and tbh dont watch Zen often outside of clips but I'm a longtime Bricky fan. I remember him, Toaster and Zen were playing together a while back and she would often snub Toaster when he addressed her. It gave super weird vibes that were hard to pinpoint so this contextualises so much of that weirdness ngl.

I always hate when people do the "I'm muting this because you're all the problem" arguments, when you make an oopsie you either just let it die down or you deal with the consequences you don't just ignore it, that's knowing you're in the wrong and doing it anyway.
I hate when people announce it too because clearly they are aware and it has affected them enough that they had to respond.

This snake managed to become friends with Zen and through her close to the Vshojo girls. His constant whining about being lonely has led Zen (who is a very kind person) to have more collabs with him then she has with anyone else outside Vshojo.

Completely unrelated to anything of substance, but every time I see somebody say “hecking” without any sort of irony, it makes me cringe. It genuinely gives me the same feeling that nails on a chalkboard does; something about it is just poison to my ears.

I've noticed that Zen actively ignores EvilToaster in some of the colabs, just straight up stonewalls him.
Kettle didn't even play the game, she just said she'd like to play it. Which was apparently enough to send the rabid mob her way. Dev still defends the mob to this day.

As a viewer, collabs tend to push me away. I'm there for one particular person and if some random comes on and hogs airtime, I'll come back later, when it's not a Collab.
Collabs work when the person your streamer collabs with is similar in content or personality so you find someone new you can follow.
I love angry Kirsche, she's really fun by default but angry Kirsche is extra fun.

4:01 I used to work for a company that sold cellphones, and I absolutely HATED cold calling customers. Not so much because I had social anxiety, but because I personally hate being cold called myself with marketing phone calls. So I understood exactly what it was my customers needed from me - which wasn't what the company wanted. I screwed myself out if that job, and while at the time I kicked myself for fricking up my employment, it was a blessing in disguise, and I am now working at a job that pays me more and is something I am far more successful in.
I love the roasting of the toaster lol but serously he is such a mega creep the document that got leaked shows how creepy he is.
I dont think the document is terrible because he hasnt done anything yet that would be a massive problem but it does show a pattern of behavior of the same type of people that eventually do that type of things. Hope this is a wakeup call for him and realizes how he comes off.

People picked up on him when a Vtuber dropped a Google doc talking about her experiences with him since 2022. Bunch of people had already been aware of his behavior since 2018 which is why Kirsche said what she did at the end of the video about pestering women.
I knew of him from OW1 days and his Orisa gameplay. Now....I just know he does Apex and is almost always with Zen. He's a good Apex player from little clips I've seen but didn't know his numbers were that low in general. Now, I have no room to talk viewership wise since I stopped streaming a while ago but some streams I watch with a couple hundred viewers still call themselves small. Since the GDoc came out, I'm def staying away from this guy.

EvilToaster in all the collabs i've seen him in, his just there. His like DSPGaming, just sitting there in silence giggling a little and having nothing to say on anything, and when he speaks it's so out of left field you almost get a whiplash from the snap back. It's insane how uninteresting he is as a person.
This is also why he doesn't grow on his content. There's nothing to really attract people to be interested in him. Granted what i'm writing can also be said about DSPGaming so, you be the judge on that.
I mean, DSP Gaming at least gave us some great clips like his metal gear streams and Itsagundum's borderline parasocial obsession with him (as a character). EvilToaster has none of that, if you can't inspire to make a gundum loving, hood origined, png to Vtuber to make a gunpla like figure about you, you really are doing something wrong.

If I were to ever collab I wouldn't do it for growth, simply because my content is so extremely niche that I doubt any of the other persons audience would be into it. People have different tastes, you cant just expect people to watch you because you talked to their favorite streamer once.

That said, I don't think this tactic is working very well: I think I saw him in a couple of collabs before and the thought of checking his content out never even entered my brain.

Vshojo was used as a "tool" to access Japan. And once it is used it will be discharded for them to go under. I love mouse and the dragon but someone is attempting to use them. Just monitor.
Nah. Vshojo is dead in JP. I think they will keep trying to go for some of that audience but i disagree that this is their end goal.
After Nazuna left, only Kson and Henya were left, and Henya streams more for the EN side than she does for JP. VShojo JP really only has Kson now, and as soon as the deal starts skewing in VShojo's favour, she's gone. VShojo knows this quite well, so is doing everything they can to keep Kson happy. Japanese viewers tend to watch Hololive and Kurosanji more anyway.

Kirsche is so right about collabs. IMHO you always should look at who you collaborate with, and see if you vibe well with them and can do good content with them, not at the size of their audience.

Colabs are also a decent way to get some of your viewers poached. People only have so much time, and when they sit down to watch a streamer, and they colab with someone the viewer happened to like more, that first person you liked just lost a viewer.
Ehhh I beg to differ, since I watch a lot of different vtubers and most of them are friends with each other, though I tend to stick to watching VShojo and VShojo adjacent vtubers. But that's just me.

There's certainly some of that going on, but if there's anything that's held true across a decade and a half of RUclips, Twitch, and similar, so far as I can tell it's that collaboration is generally a boon for all involved.
Respectfully I have to disagree, in fact I ended up finding Kirsche via a collab with Pippa and have been watching both for awhile now. I mean not every streamer streams at the exact same time, nor even on the same day as others, nor does your schedule always match up with theirs, so its good to have some variety when the stars don't align, suffice to say like most things in life collabs can be a double edged sword, but fortunately tends to lean a bit more towards the positive side for all parties involved in most cases.
