The Challenger Series is back, and the journey to Championship Tour qualification starts at Snapper Rocks. Veterans and rookies are looking to elevate themselves to the highest platform of professional surfing with this famed right-hander as their backdrop. Across the six-event gauntlet, the sport’s most promising talents battle against former CT competitors to become one of the 10 men and five women who qualify for the Championship Tour and earn their place among the world’s best surfers.

Mikey's win gave me goosebumps and Erin Brooks is UNREAL for a 16 year old (or any age for that matter)! Pittar, MRod and Pupo were all ripping too!! What an epic event! Can't wait til Sydney. Well done surfers, commentators, crowd and WSL!!!!

Kaipo a couple times getting pushed aside and ignored by Mcdonagh (especially at 8:00:20 ) is absolute gold
also from 7:58:16 onwards.
Well, Kaipo was not really ignored. This is to be expected if a guy wins and is full of adrenaline and not himself and not really approachable.
I keep expecting to see Kaipo on a new "ShamWow!" commercial.... guy is always pitching or shilling something... Gotta make that bread though I guess... Just feels like I am watching an infomercial with a bit of surfing in between sometimes. At least we got to see the Quarts through finals from this one... I wouldn't mind all the shilling on the others if we at least got to watch the finals on all of em... But hey... 🤙
