- Marvel has released a lot of live-action TV shows over the years, though some are better than others. For this list, we’ll be looking at every series this company produced between 2013-2021 and determining the worst and best of the bunch. So, sorry fans of the 1970s Spider-Man, but we won’t be including him on this list. We’ll also leave out animated series because they could make a list of their own. Since we’ll be getting into some specific details about these shows, beware of spoilers ahead. Our countdown includes "Agent Carter" (2015-16), "WandaVision" (2021), "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (2013-20), "Legion" (2017-19), and more! Which of these series is your favorite? Be sure to sound off in the comments below.

I would've ranked The Punisher much higher due to the amazing fight scenes. Let's not forget season 3 of Daredevil which the Bullseye character was redeemed from the horrible rendition from Collin Farrell.

There was only one correct choice for number 1. Daredevil, no contest. There is a reason why Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are back!
Daredevil is one of the best action tv shows ever not just marvel. Excluding daredevil I’d say Hawkeye, Hawkeye was a perfect fun and joyful Christmas adventure. That is my problem with this list, I feel Hawkeye is the best Disney plus show easily. But there was no questions daredevil number one.
I can't wait for the defenders to return if and when they do. I feel bad for Iron Fist and Inhumans turning out to be as bad as they were especially when they both used at least one actor from GoT

I thought wandavision is going to top this but I am more than happy to see daredevil getting the respect it deserves, it is the perfect marvel show for me with the perfect story, acting, action scenes and a solid villain, Charlie cox is irreplaceable in this role, I loved his cameo in no way home and I would love to see more of him, but I am afraid MCU gonna put unnecessary humour and reduce the brutality of the characters too
I feel that too, thx to Disney. But have hopes maybe they accept the fact Daredevil needs a darker tone, just like how Netflix did it.

Daredevil is coming back.
Hawkeye is my favourite Disney+ Marvel show by far. The Action Sequences, Acting, The Lead Actor's Chemistry and Rewatchability were better than the others. The Grounded Approach to the Plot and the Visuals really worked well. Renner, Steinfeld, Pugh and Cox were the standouts.
And Of Course, Daredevil is #1. No Doubt.

Rewatching Daredevil for the 3rd time. It is seriously leagues beyond the already good D+ Shows, which just speaks to how much of an anomaly it is in terms of Superhero shows. Everything fits so well together and its truly well written except a few instances. Charli Cox is incredible. One of my favourite shows of all time.
DD is the best next wandavision and loki then fatw, then hawkeye (i liked the 1-5 ep but the finale kinda disappointing

I literally just finished daredevil two weeks ago so I’d catch up before kingpin would be on Hawkeye… it was mid af
Daredevil’s first season was great but it fell off after. The whole Foggy-Matt-Karen relationship that made the show great just disappeared. They trade a foggy and Karen relationship then randomly switch it to Karen and Matt who had no screen time together😂 punisher carried season two, which was extremely boring. And season 3 was better but not great. After season one of AoS, the show continuously got better and better. Out of all the shows they developed the best love story easily and every other episode there was an unexpected plot twist that fit the story perfectly. Ur talking about me never seeing daredevil, but it’s more likely ur hating on AoS cause u only watched like 3 episodes😂😂😂

For anyone doubting, Vincent (kingpin) confirmed that daredevil (and by extension the rest of the Netflix series) are canon and that he plays the same version just years later on hawkeye. And aos and the other shows were never actually confirmed as non canon, just twisted words
The thing is, the whole "Daredevil is canon" argument falls apart if they decide to recast the characters from the other Netflix shows. Guess we'll see

A Friend of mine who is schyzophrenic recommanded it to me and They were right, it's awesome. (I don't recommand Binge watching it, tho, especially if you're psychotic or have dissocuative symptoms. I derealized for the two first Season (a week and a half of bingewatch) until I réalized I needed to take a break between episodes)

Great list, but it’s worth mentioning Agents of Shield has what is hands down the best love story in all if the MCU in FitzSimmons.

The fact that Wanda vision wasn't appriciated after first 2 episodes is just awesome to think that it became one of the best.
End ruined everything
Started well but after epsiode 7 the whole thing falls apart and on rewatches less and less of it makes sense and Wanda looks more and more like an unintentional villain. Overall its good, not great. Shame.

they destoryed kingpin in hawkeye, i was heartbroken to see one of the best marvel villains being a on intimidating clown and also the same kingpin who has fought 1 on 1 with daredevil and punisher gets defeated by Kate, a 21 year old kid with not even close to the strength nor experience of the former.

Most of these shows were way worse, especially The Runaways.
Luke Cage was great until they killed Cottonmouth halfway through the first season, then I found it really boring.
I agree with Daredevil's position in this ranking it deserves it without a doubt but i am really scared that in MCU they will probably tone him and kingpin down to PG-13 . When Fisk shatters Anatoly's head with the car door in season 1 is when we truly discover who he is , which makes the character really interesting and fearful at the same time , same thing with bullseye and daredevil as well, so i hope they don't try to ruin that for us in the MCU version of it

I know a lot of people are commenting and praising Daredevil-and with good reason-it’s an amazing show, but my al time favourite has to be Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I’ve been a proud fan since 2017 and the only ever good better and better each season (with a little wonkiness in the sixth season, wasn’t bad though). It’s an amazing example of perseverance from it’s lacklustre first season to the jaw dropping seventh season finale. Each episode was never dull or un engaging, with an spectacular diverse cast of wonderful actors. (Ming-Na Wren!!!🤩)
On a personal level there are definitely things I would tweak for it to be the best in my own opinion, but only small things. Not to mention FitzSimmons! Oh my god! What a ride. Often said as the MCU’s best ship/relationship, initially introduced as Agents of SHIELD's resident British science geeks, the relationship between Fitz and Simmons has been a key part of the show since day one, but their love would blossom in a gradual fashion. What began as a deep and endearing friendship between two incredibly intelligent minds soon evolved into something more, as the duo's career path thrust them into life-threatening situations on a weekly basis. What separates FitzSimmons from the other love stories in the MCU is that the couple has an entirely realistic relationship in a world full of superpowers and science fiction. Since they officially became an item, FitzSimmons' arc has avoided the soap opera-style route of constant instability but also avoided giving the characters their happily-ever-after. Instead, the husband and wife duo have remained faithfully dedicated to each other and strove to overcome the many obstacles that continue to block their path to happiness. This is something an audience can relate to, even if they can't relate to the obstacles themselves, and the FitzSimmons story therefore resonates far stronger the more common on and off-style relationships or the love stories involving superheroes. They’re entire love and story greatly inspired and written by the two main show-runners who were married themselves!
In terms of character, character designs, and arcs, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wrote beautifully. Each main character, and each of them were main characters, was important and had an important role in the show as a whole. They were all equal, both in the show standing and as human (and not so human) characters, with bonds as strong as the shotgun axe. But these relationships and bonds were also tested, not always coming back out perfect, which is really the most perfect thing to do, especially in a long run show like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Even main characters who left early-ish on were always remembered as important characters. (We miss you Bobbi and Hunter!)
Another great part of the show and often overlooked, is it’s comedy/humour. With running gags as old as time that never prevail, to Mack and Coulson’s one-liners (heck, everyone’s one-liners), they was always a healthy laugh stuck in there. Humour that was also easy to understand, as someone who deeply struggles with everyday and modern humour and sarcasm, this not only understandable for me but also helped me adapt to understand other humour.
And that is only a portion of my thoughts on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Wouldn't have been mad with "WandaVision" at #1, but I think they got it right. Punisher should be higher. I'd put the first season of Jessica Jones up against anything in the MCU.
that first season of Jessica Jones was awesome, but I think a lot of that was down to Killgrave. I hope he makes an appearance at some point in the MCU in the future
Kilgrave getting killed off ruined a lot of the show, but season 1 was fantastic.
Wandavision sucks compared to DD

Comparing the MCU Disney shows is like a gymnastics competition where everybody tries to do complex maneuvers only to end up landing on their faces. Then comes Hawkeye, it just jumps three times and nothing else, and it wins because everyone else is kissing the floor.
In the case of Loki it not only manages to break it's own neck and die, it almost purposefully injures the rest of the contestants on it's way down.
Why the hell is agents of shield not canon, it had more connections to the MCU then most of the shows on this list

The one thing I didn't like about The Gifted was that it ended far too soon and stopped at a cliffhanger. That's how much I loved it

Buuuuut, the second one, without a doubt, should had been for Agents of SHIELD
Honestly, AoS is sooooo much better than all the other Disney+ series for a lot of reasons. The character development, their dynamics, the variety of topics in the seasons, the well use of elements that the movies didn't (hydra, the krees, etc), and a lot more.

Agents of Shield is better than all the shows that were made for Disney+. Those characters go through so much punishment each season it's crazy.
My top 3:
1- Agents of SHIELD
2- Legion
3- Daredevil
Agents of Shield is the best by far for me. Each season tops the previous one and introduced some great characters that should appear in more MCU projects.
I'd then go Daredevil and The Punisher after it. I don't think the Disney+ shows have lived up to the hype yet with the exception of WandaVision.
I think Agents of Shield had an amazing season 3-5, but it started to get a bit boring in the last 2 seasons

I just couldn't get into Loki it was my least favorite Marvel show so far. Glad to see Falcon & Winter Soldier so high its my 2nd fav after Falcon. I CANNOT WAIT til Daredevil season 4

The first Watchmojo list I agree 100% with. Our Boy Matty and Willy are amazing. So amazing infact that a 1 min cameo in No way home and a 10 min scene in Hawkeye were the talking points of No way Home and Hawkeye season finale respectively. What a masterpiece Daredevil is ❤️

Agent Carter got canceled due to low viewership, I think that, The Gifted, and others shows I know of just had their plugs pulled just to make room for more new shows. And the whole thing about low viewings, ratings and stuff is just a cover the people have been led to believe for years.
Agent Carter is also a prequel so there is not that much to add

I thoroughly enjoyed The Gifted and it sucked it got canceled after 2 seasons. Same with Cloak & Dagger. Season 2 was a little janky at time, it came around. Maybe time for a rewatch. For this and Runaways. And A.o.S. will always be my favorite of these shows

Hawkeye imo was way better than Falcon and Winter Solider. The hype was bigger bc it was right after WandaVision, but it was ultimately a let down. WandaVision on the other hand should've been number 1.

@Kondapalli Vedh Saugandh Reddy like I said I've seen both. I preferred the punisher over daredevil, but loved WandaVision the most. Especially over the Disney + series. Hawkeye wasn't bad either. Loki wasn't that great and Fatws was just not very good.

This list just got agents of shield, punisher and hawkeye wrong. I understand daredevil has a massive fanbase...I loved it too however I prefer AoS to Daredevil...it definitely deserves to be at the very least no. 2 on this list

Watch me confidently put Moon Night at the top of that list. Brilliantly written show, genius display of acting by Oscar Isaac and crew, introduction of original marvel characters, fantastic spin on the comics, thematizes mental health issues and how it can be one’s superpower, authentic representation of Egypt and it’s mythology, all in all a blast to watch, had the heartiest laughs and most bitter cries that’s for sure:)
Cloak and Dagger was so underrated.. I wish it got the chance it deserved 😩
Well, Marvel did brought Daredevil and Kingpin back, so...
That show felt so bland & empty & Dagger was annoying as hell

My 2nd favorite mcu show.
I liked the Marvel Television's Netflix series characters and it was great to see Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio reprise those roles in the MCU canon movie and TV show: Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye, and I hope we got more soft retcon rebooted if it means have Luke Cage and Iron Fist friendship and Jessica Jones and Luke Cage fall in love get married and have that super baby "Danielle" named after Danny. Krysten Ritter was great as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter was great as Luke Cage, Elodie Yung was great as Elektra, Jon Bernthal was great as the Punisher, Ben Barnes was great as Jigsaw, Misty Knight was great, Trish Walker was great, Bullseye was great, the only one who should either be softly rebooted or recasted is Finn Jones as Iron Fist, either I hope we get these characters retconed in the MCU canon
I just love how the MCU shows that came out this year were among the top 5

Daredevil deserves to be no 1.
But Hawkeye is better than all the other Disney+ shows. Yes Wanda vision and Loki were filled with fun mysteries, but Hawkeye was just a more solid entry overall.
