My body might not be the slim sexy fighting machine it once was... But I also Un-Diabetic'ed myself in under three months. My VA home health guy called me to say I was in range 99% of the time... Thinking I was still on 14 units of Insulin and 4 Metformin. Then I told him I still had the last 5 insulin pens unused, only take 2 Metformin, about to go to one. Only thing I have not gone back to is pop with sugar and I eat way less. You want to do crazy diets and listen to doctors; be my guest. I'll do it my way and it'll work...
I started at 10.5 AIC. The tracking algorithms are projecting me to be around 5-ish when I get it checked again soon.

I know that feeling but as long as you stay active & take care of yourself (eat right, exercise etc) you'll find ways to adapt, still get things done & keep on surviving. Our ancestors kept going till the last breath left them. We can do the same.

I picked one of these up last night. I need a good tough stainless steel blade to toss into my SXS for some long distance trail riding in WV and Pennsyltuckey for when those fallen trees are blocking the path. Im hopefully this stainless holds up to the hype 👍👍🇺🇸

Happens to the best of bud, Growing old totally blows. I've got messed up shoulder too. Mines from getting arrested many times when I was youngster. I'm allergic to alcohol since I got older , I breakout in handcuffs 😂

I really like that style blade design.
To be honest, I'd rather just use a belt knife around 4.5 inches with a good hatchet these days. Im also screwed up with neuropathy but also a c6 disc buldge causing nerve issues down my arms. Ive had to change my game, small sticks no more big stuff even for videos im done with it. We all know big knives can be batoned through a tree whats left to prove.
Focus on the materials the edge geometry and small 2 to 3 inch branches . I never use big blades anymore it just makes my shoulder go out for days .
Thats why I review little blades and build puukkos an stuff.
Ya gotta rethink your playbook brother . I personally just like hearing what ya think of the designs.

Left shoulder? Archery draw. Take a look at some physical therapy bro; it might just help you out. I'm recovering from multiple surgeries. All have taken their toll. Pretty much lost most of the use on my left wrist for daily stuff. Can't open a door knob without wincing. It's getting better, but after three months is still acting up. The other things (ribs, shoulder, etc.) seem to be healing well.
If given a choice, I really want a decent OTF. Don't care as to brand as long as it works. Just got my reminder that the coffee renewal went through, and realized nothing new for two weeks from you. Hope you are still among the living.
