My oldest son put up a few stands a few weeks ago and get one of the smile your on camera signs.. it helps to keep more people honest we found with the stands. Another good video .. keep making that green!!!

Thanks Dale , for me I get board watching the same thing and I like to see new ideas and ways of doing things so I try and keep that in mind when we’re doing a video but it’s about impossible to do that every time especially when it’s the bussy time of yr like now . We really appreciate you and everyone one else hanging with us through our busy time of yr .

Bundle sales are doing great. I wanted have mine out this weekend my bagger not here yet. I am finding that I don’t cut my wood at 16 inches 😂. It never really mattered till this year. My dad passed last year. His 8 and my 4 to 5 keep me busy. Hope my stand don’t do that well I be buying wood keep it filled. The camp ground was a great score. Congratulations 🎉 have great weekend. A 5 gallon bucket with the bottom cut out works well as a bagger also at least till ya bagger gets there . I had never used a measuring stick till I started doing bagged wood . The wood just looks better in the bag if it’s all the same length . That campground has been great for us we’re headed there again today for a couple hardwood deliveries. Hope ya get that stand up and going soon .
@@AllenFamilyFirewood all my bags with it also. Should started with trash can something. I plan on doing for long time want to be as easy as it can be. Sold some wood that funded most the cost getting into the bagging and stand setup. That camp ground keep ya hopping all summer.

First job he had the crane on and it didn’t work . At least there sending him another brand new one . I hauled all day yesterday probably 8 cord of oak an pine but my camera girl was busy at the shop all day making bundles lol . Always going non stop this time of yr .

Good morning Vietnam!! A lot of travel time- at least it was in a clean truck thanks to Karen’s impeccable cleanliness! Lucky guy Phil ! Doesn’t surprise me no theft at the campground, lots of happy campers there- sorry, couldn’t resist. A buddy paid me back some money he owed me, all 50’s, said bank had no 100’s, from what I could glean, Feds printed Billions of them, kinda replacing 20’s- takes a fifty now to buy what a twenty used too! Let’s get these clowns out of office!! Bet Phil “donated” the blocking lumber, just one of those deals “ you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours”. Have a nice weekend 😁
You are correct on all counts Mike! Especially the "it takes a $50 dollar bill to buy what a $20 used to"! It's all going to hell in a handbag. I can't say the truck is "clean" but at least the trash and cans are not accumulating, which they would be if Phil was in charge! I have to ride in that truck so often I have to at least empty the cans. I don't have time to clean the sawdust dust, etc. from all crevices of the thing. I don't even have time to clean my own vehicle, or the house, or the pool...don't get me going! lol Have a great weekend!
Build some sideboards for the truck bed with some of the less desirable but still good slabs. Fit more bundles in the truck
Those were Phil's exact words the other day! lol It's much easier delivering the bundles with just the truck and not having to maneuver that trailer around everywhere. Some of the spots are tricky to get to with the trailer attached. Wouldn't be surprised to see sideboards soon!

Hello Phil and Karen. Do you guys always sell a lot of fire wood heading into the summer months. I would have thought the fall would have been the start of the busy season. It appears the sales are doing well. Hope you have a good year of selling and splitting to maintain the pace. Thanks for another good video.
Thanks Dono! We typically don't sell firewood this time of year, but this customer likes it really dry and likes to be ahead of the game having it all stacked and ready to go come Fall. The stands are doing well, we're expecting it to get better once school is out and people are traveling more for the Summer. Take care and have a great weekend!

That would be cool watching you saw out some Lumber and again where I work with tree guy’s also and the mill I have I don’t run anymore because it’s old like me haha but showing some of their equipment would be cool too but being in trucking It does get old after a long day, but something that would be interesting. Would be like what I do when I clean out my vehicles it usually gets to the point that when you open the door stuff falls out(hate to litter) So you just about need a shovel ha ha enjoyed the video as usual. We will do a sawing video here eventually just in the firewood mode right now trying to keep up with that . My truck is usually a disaster but with Karen riding along she has been keeping the inside perdy clean . Definitely hard to keep the videos interesting when we do the same thing every week but we’re trying to.

We’re getting used to people taking extra bundles and not paying unfortunately. I guess it’s just part of it . I’d much rather work with old stuff than the new computerized stuff
Fill all the stands
We're trying to take bundles to the stands just using the truck, so we don't always have enough to fill each one. Some are selling slower than others, so it seems to work out for now. Thanks Arne!

We saw a fair amount of hemlock , it’s a lil tougher than pine but a lot easier than oak if that’s helpful. Either way it’s plenty heavy moving slabs by ya self
Your trailer gates sticking out make me nervous every dump! Seems like it takes 4 times as long to open the pool than close it, got the goop off the pool cover last night and cover off, says 70 degrees
It looked really close in the video Dan, but there was plenty of room. We always watch those doors! Opening the pool sure does take the longest because you’ve got to really clean it! We just had to replace the pump in our pool…that ought to eat up a lot of firewood profit!
Making lots of money Phil so that,s the main thing. You have a few bundles stolen sometimes, that,s not good. I don,t no why people do stuff like that. Put a camera up to get the picture of there vehicle and them. Then you no who,s doing it. Anyway nice seeing you back again. Take care.

How many bundles you guys sell this year?.. me I'm surprised to say 1545.
We e probably only sold 500 bundles so far this yr . I’m shooting to be over 5000 by the end of the season . Just trying to double our sales from last yr and so far we are on track to exceed that . Next yrs going to be a lil tougher to double up again lol but we’re gona try .

It is so sad that people steal from you. Working people spend our lives supporting people that won't work. They wouldn't want me to be the judge for thieves. They are stealing a piece of your life that went into making the wood and paying for the equipment. Those mini skid steerers amaze me at how much they will lift.
We completely agree Jim. Nothing worse than a thief. They obviously don't give a thought or a care as to how much work it takes to put that bundle on that stand. Wish we could change the world! Take care and have a great weekend!
