SOTD Wet Stone. Out of everything you mentioned, the only one I own is Sultan Vetiver. I'd try the Guerlain, but it sounds redundant to SV. Love Vetiver. Big fan of Lunar Vetiver also. Thank you for another great installment.

I hope the atomizer was just a fluke because I really like the aesthetic of that bottle. I love the look of lab ware.

Sounds like a nice fragrance Aaron, I thought this might have been Marilyn Manson inspired when I first saw the name because Holy Wood is the name of one of his albums lol
I thought the same. The typeface used for the label is also similar to the one used throughout the album artwork. Methinks the perfumer or product planner is a fan.

It’s strange they recommend this when you said you like rose. Big fan of a la rose by mfk. His mens version I’m not as big a fan of but it has that metallic edge to it I believe you’d enjoy
I had to look up photos of that shop. The chandelier looks like it's $100k. The decor could be described as "Victorian funeral parlor." I really don't know what's going on with perfumery in NY but I hear Santal 33 is ubiquitous.
When I enter a store and the sales associate rush to me I tell them initially I’m gonna look around and if I need you I’ll come to you. That usually stops when from ruining my shopping experience 😅

Yeah I hate it when staff take the wheel and don’t leave you alone to explore if that’s what you want to do.
I've had some bad experiences with wanting to test out scents and being told I could only try a few. There is a lot of gate keeping in certain stores over their fragrance testers, its really off putting.
I really dont like it when they only have a few testers you can try and 95% locked away so you have to ask the staff to smell different perfumes 😖 .It would be better if they had everything so you could test and just ask staff if you want

Thomas Kosmala NO4. Similar to BR540, more metallic, stronger, insane performance. Only scent in the insane class of performance.

I recently got Hard Candy and two samples with it, thank you by the way.
One sample says SPN which I think is Supernova but the other one just has *W*, what is the W one? It's the one I like the most and will be ordering a full bottle if I can found out what it is 😂
The only fragrance with a W in it is Raw Cherry but I wouldn't think you would label Raw Cherry as *W* 🤷🏻♂️
Still really like Hard Candy and Supernova too though.
Maybe W stands for a synonym of slut lol?
Usually the upcoming releases just have a letter on them, so they won't have been announced yet

I looked up the note breakdown for Holy_Wood and it has 2 types of rose... could they have given you the wrong bottle?

The fragrance “Red_Wood” from that brand is THE WORST fragrance I’ve EVER smelt! 🤢
