Singer Jenni Rivera believed dead in plane crash

Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera is believed to have died in a plane crash along with six other people when the wreckage of a private jet they were believed to have been traveling in was found with no survivors in the mountains of northern Mexico.
Rivera, 43, took off from Monterrey airport in a Lear 25 jet along with two crew and four other passengers at around 3:30am Sunday. The plane was scheduled to arrive at Mexico City's Toluca International Airport at 4:40pm but disappeared from radar 10 minutes after take-off, about 62 miles from Monterrey.
Rivera has sold more than 15 million records and is known as "la diva de la Banda," or the diva of Banda music, by her fans. She was born in Long Beach, California to Mexican immigrants. SOURCE: Reuters, ABC, Telemundo
