Many Thanks for the tutoral I learnt more from that than from 6 other one`s I have watched,just bought a 12ft Diam,net so at least I have got some idea on how to cast it and not look a total plank when I do it,I live in Cornwall UK soits a bit far to go for some 1 on 1 lessons,still its a good vid so keep them coming,Many Thanks Cam Watts.

I can do it passably well; my thing now is knowing where to cast to catch baitfish. I take a bit longer than others to set-up and I don't get the best 'pancake' throw but it's been working!

your way sucks wants to put a wet net all over themselves you need to look at a few ways that are on the internet to do that dude. split the way to the net and half grabbing it at waist level and pick up one extra section it'll spread out fine dude. I'll bet you look like hell when you come home from fishing

Btw, if you throw a smaller net, you can open it more fully, it weighs less, you can load it quicker and you can catch more bait.

I can manage to do it when I try. I still haven't managed to do perfect "pancake" throws like you mentioned:/

Get him a ProKast Perfect Circle ring and he can throw up to 10' radius nets like a frisbee. They can be installed for right or left hand use.
The net worked better than the box lid for catching fish.
