Whoa
Thanks for the upload fantastic. Do you have any other duane and berry abb concerts? Thanks again
Thanks Joe. Yeah...I do have a pile of Allman boots from this era. Will try to get another up for the weekend.
Thanks looking forward to hearing them.
I don't believe this is the correct date based on the songs played
In the set list this sounds like summer of 70 both don't keep me wonderin and stormy Monday and you dont love me were not in the set until late June early July of 70
I think this is one of the Atlanta pop fest performances particularly the july 4th performances which were not released due to humidity problems affecting the tape machine
Either way its always appreciated when the original lineup is available on RUclips
Cheers
You’re right - this is 7/10/70
You are right. This is NOT Jan 1970. There is no way that Duane was playing this solo on Liz Reed at this point in time. Jan 70 would have been a month before they even started recording Liz Reed in the studio and for that Duane carefully worked out a solo which he basically stuck to for months before exploring new heights....
Have read a lot of Allman history and nobody has ever mentioned them playing an Atlanta Pop set on the 4th. They kicked off the festival in n the 3rd and closed it early in the morning of the 5th. DKMW was captured from both sets very clearly on the archival release, and this version is not from either. To be clear I’m not saying this concert is from the Whisky in January, but it is not from Atlanta Pop.
Yeah, I am no expert, but I don’t recall You Don’t Love me being performed that early.
@@dollydagger7502 is certainly possible I have an audience recording marked with the 7-4-70 date along with the officially released 7-3 and 7-5-70 release but the audience recording could have easily been mistaken for one of their numerous other summer of 70 performances
Ok, based on another comment, band may was a bit older. I won't argue. Still....

Thanks for posting! If you have a second, we posted some original blues tunes. As fellow music fans, we'd love if you'd check it out. It's on our page. Don't go too hard on us :)
BTW - what a FANTASTIC show you've posted! Things like this are what keep me from completely hating RUclips.
