Even M doesn’t want to be associated with a bomb. That’s why she doesn’t want to go on chat shows etc to promote her show. She was embarrassed of her all out spotify promotions that resulted in a tanked podcast series. It’s doubtful she could handle the same embarrassment a second time. She could now blame for any poor ratings for her cooking show on lack of promotions.

Why do they have to bring in some guests for This One's Wife cooking show? I thought it was being filmed to celebrate cooking, family and friendship? Therefore, wouldn't there be 'friends' on the show already? That's what I would expect if I tuned in to watch a show purporting these things.

I’ve heard from authors that the work they do promoting their books at publication is nothing short of gruelling. Being asked the same questions by every interviewer, and having to react as though it’s the first the first time they’ve heard it every single time. Same with TV shows promos. Can you seriously see the lazy Markle doing the promo rounds? She’ll find some excuse to get out of it.
