Dear Kinsey, I just left this comment after a body language analysis by TheBehavioralArts...In this case, I can only partly agree with you. As an HSP, unfortunately also in a very pronounced form, I perceive different signals here. As someone who was diagnosed with SMA type 3 and a wheelchair at the age of 14 and has been surrounded by these thoughts ever since, what I perceive here is very inauthentic. Not to say giving other parents such advice is extremely questionable in my eyes. That's why they should withdraw from precisely this topic. Because what they are doing is doing more harm than raising awareness of such an important and sensitive issue. When I look into the eyes of these parents, it almost breaks my heart, especially as a mother! These parents should not be presented like this! This sadness should not be capitalized on! Probably because it's topical, gives them TV time and they can pretend empathy and compassion. Unfortunately it could cause more harm than good to parents who are grief stricken and in despair. Forget the platitudes - has Archwell set up a group facility with a 24 hr helpline, staff to explain available resources and on staff therapists, counsellors and crisis help? The idea might be good, there may be a gap in provision that needs filling but I'm afraid if it is one of their 'Bright ideas' I doubt anything helpful will come of it.
While there may be things online, they do seem to cause a lot of it and why is nothing said about the much worse online abuse against the RF, in particular the Wales family which is majoritively caused by the Sussexes own squad which Harry and Meghan thank and have photographs with them! They even have main leaders and spokespeople of the squad on social media who have been particularly cruel to Catherine The Princess of Wales during her cancer diagnosis and during her treatment. Prince William and Catherine were involved with mental health long before MM was on the scene.
