Greatest coverage linebacker ever. Greatest 4-3 outside linebacker ever. A consummate pro, and a tremendous human being. I am honored for all the memories he's blessed me with. He is what every football player, and every man, should aspire to be. Derrick fought the good fight. He did it the right way.

Proud he is a Buccaneer and spent his entire career here.

Absolutely agree Double Nickel is the best 4-3 OSLB ever and a even better human which makes him All World Hall of Fame not just the NFL Hall or Fame.

@@bowlchamps37 He almost played in 2009 on the Saints can't remember exactly what happened with that i think he went to their training camp and before the season started he had second thoughts and retired.

Everyone in Tampa knows he's one of the GOATs for the sport, not many outside TB remember him and it's a damn shame.

Thank you Derrick. You killed it for my entire childhood and made me a spoiled ass bucsfan. Now.. 13 years after our last playoff game. Superbowl champs again. I still think of you. Thanks again for everything on and off the field.

@Smoovego Bucs! A few things imo but mainly that Toms still getting used to his first new system in 20 years, defense in a little slump too

Brooks said it best when talking about the Bucs defense, "We do what we do". And he did every game.

Derrick Brooks was one of the best to ever do it in the nfl what a career! can’t wait to see highlights from linebackers like lavonte and devin white because both of them could be greats as well

My favorite buccaneers defense moment was Michael Vick on the Falcons sideline saying the 2002 buccaneer defense was so fast he couldn't move they were dominating him 🤣 they used Double Nickel as a spy and it worked 😁
Btw another Leetus Productions buccaneer banger 🔥

As a lifelong FSU fan I always knew Derrick was special. My favorite player of all time and one of the greatest to ever do it. There was no weakness in his game. He did it all at a high level and was a great human being as well.

I once thought they broke the mold after Brooks.
Maybe they found most of it and discovered Devin White.
