In total they had like 10-11 sacks , Thomas had 7. It was like every snap he was in backfield chasing one of Raiders QB's around.
If he had lived he would have been a coach. His drive would have had guys kill for him on the field I'm sure.
I’m pretty sure there was a solid 5 minutes of just Dave Krieg getting sacked in this video. I don’t think any linebacker has ever had a quarterback’s number like Derrick Thomas had on Dave Krieg.
CHIEFS IN SUPER BOWL 58!!! Bring this one for DERRICK!!!
DT! No one sacked John Elway more times than Derrick. DT sacked Elway 26 times in his career. RIP legend. Go Chiefs!
Top 12 greatest linebackers in history in no particular order.

How do you feel about Luke 59? Cant spell his last name
@@mingywantwingy1379 kuechly and Wagner could be up here
Make it top 16 and add Willie Lanier, Patrick Willis, Luke Keuchly and Bobby Wagner (maybe Fred Warner in 10 years)
@@mingywantwingy1379 that’s another one.
I should have said my top 12. Believe me I am in no way trying treat this list like it’s absolute fact.
still waiting for another one of these
Reggie White and Derrick Thomas were my favorite players.
Man, talking bout making a grown cry and be happy at the same time!!!! Defensive coaches need to show this video to their players, made my old ass wanna go sack me quarterbacks 😁 thanks for this awesome video!!!!! and RIP Mr HOF.DerrickThomas🌹
Legend has it that Dave Krieg still has nightmares about Derrick Thomas
Not only one of the best ever, he was one hell of a giuy. Only the great die young!
Unique athleticism. RIP DT!!
Imagine LT and DT on the same line.
He didn't just have a ton of sacks. He was pressuring qbs on almost every play.
Greatest defensive player of all time he blitzes as if the linemen he is facing don’t exist and then can drop into coverage and bat down a ball or break it up
Karlaftis has a motor like 58. Excited for the 2022 season! #chiefskingdom 🔥
My brother helped DJ a private party for Derrick at the arrowhead club. Lots and lots of stories about how much you liked to party. Play hard/ work hard
I honestly don't know if there's been another player with five sacks in game, much less recording six sacks in a game twice and having a seven sack game. Those are some records that are probably going to stick around for awhile.
