I couldn’t figure out why he cut the strawberries. We never did as those are the runners that will produce more berries next year. If they are ever bearing, he may have cut off berries for later in the summer.

Thats a good idea. Probably some at the end too to block a way to get out. Might put a heavy rock there

Sounded like a raspy bullfrog to me. Very weak but that's what I heard.
You have a lot of carry options. In sweats, with no belt, I clip a IWB holster on the waist band and cinch up the drawstring of the waist band, real tight, stays secure. If it gets too heavy, clip a pair of 2" wide suspenders to your shorts and wear them under your shirt. My brother would wear a fanny pack, in the front, with his carry in it.

If you don't want your shorts to fall down, either get a good belt (LOL), Or a Belly Band holster, they work great and don't pull your pants down. I wouldn't ever be down there without carrying protection, especially when your young daughters are there.

Dutch get an ankle holster just don’t get in the water with it. My co-workers use to wear them on the ankle and hip. I live in the city and love your lifestyle but that’s a dealbreaker for me.😳 I would be strapped all the time.

Garden looks great , what I did this year is turn those older cattle feeders , the long ones. Turned those into beds for the cucumbers, squash. The big Atwoods tubs I use for potatoes. They're just so expensive

I have a lift recliner that I sleep in as I can not roll over. I paid a lot more than what u said. And no vibration, rollator nor heat like some. My dad has recliner (no lift) with vibration, rollator & heat he naps in. At 90 (Aug 20) he's in better health & shape than me.

My family raised hogs for years. They don't bark, they don't growl. They grunt and squeal. Bullfrog gets my vote, too. There's probably an app that would identify it like the ones for birds and plants.

The strawberry runners is what produces the new plant and your strawberries for next year!. you need to direct the runners in to a new raised bed and the center of your current raised bed.
