Isn't it crazy how one of the biggest disco groups of the 70's, the Bee Gees, wrote the number 1 country duet of all time?!!! No one else could have done a better job of singing it than Dolly and Kenny, may he rest in peace! If I ever hear this song on the radio or tv, I NEVER skip past it! What a beautiful and uplifting song!

As a young child I fell madly in love with Kenny Roger's & Dolly Parton , they displayed what true friendship is , never trying to out stage each other ,a true and unadulterated friendship with so much admiration , love and respect towards one another. How extremely lucky Kenny & Dolly where to forme a true and honest friendship, a friendship that supported and uplifted each of them in both the good & bad times. Both legends brought happiness and joy to each of their followers . Kenny will surely missed in my household ,my childeren made 16 & 30 ,they were brought up listening to all the great musicians starting from the 50 all through the late 90's . The girls have grown up ,became professionals in the medical field where their days are filled with so much sickness & unhappiness do to terminal diseases, ppl with life altering diseases down to people suffering from drug & alcohol abuse , they treat each patient with respect & understanding ,they also have their music aka/ Kenny & Dolly - Allen, Wiilie , Elvis , Waylon,Merle ,Johnny - this only names afew . I dont want to forget all the wonderful singers from different categories. Thank you Kenny Rogers for all the beautiful and sometimes catchy;) tunes. I send sincere condolences to this family and friends during this hard time. Until then .
