For those who don't know much about Indonesian languages: Minang is the language of the Minangkabau people of West Sumatera, the large western-most island. Indonesian or Bahasa Indonesia is the national language and lingua franca of Indonesia, standardized from regional varieties of Malay. Jawa or Javanese is spoken in the central and eastern parts of the populous island of Java. Ambon or Ambonese Malay is spoken in the Moluccas, a cluster of islands in the eastern part of Indonesia, and is quite different from Indonesian or standard Malay, it can be considered a Malay-based creole. Sunda or Sundanese is spoken in the western part of Java.

Agree. That's why OPM industry should add Regional/Provincial OPM music because yun na lang ang kulang. Filipino songs of different dialects and language are also OPM. Marami tayong magagandang kanta mula sa iba't ibang dayalekto na need ding i-promote and dapat ring maappreciate ng audience.
Ojo Kaluguran Daka, Dodong Charing, Gi Fingers, Pero Atik Ra and Gugmang Ga Aso-Aso are proof that Regional OPM music are beautiful.
      1. Magkaroon ng 1 radio automation program ang NCR/Metro and Mega Manila FM stations na puro Regional OPM songs ang pinapatugtog para hindi lang yung provincial FM stations ang nagpapatugtog ng Regional OPM songs.
      2. Mainstream artists should keep singing and dancing Regional OPM songs. Mainstream record labels should release an album compilation or an artist's solo album na puro Regional OPM songs.

Kapag ini-stan mo talaga yung ALAMAT hindi ka lang maaaliw sa mga talento nila, madadagdagan pa yung kaalaman sa sarili nating bansa. Tama nga yung objective nila as a group.

Hi, Indonesian here! Great content, thanks for opening up our horizons. As an aside, many Tagalog words do not have corresponding equivalents in Bahasa Indonesia, but can be found in the respective regional languages in Indonesia. For example, I am a Mandarese from the island of Sulawesi. Cat in Tagalog is Pusa, while in Indonesian it is Kucing, but in my mother tongue (Mandar) cat is Posa, and many more. In my opinion, both Tagalog and Indonesian act as lingua franca in both countries, and the diversity and similarities between the two can be explored and studied further. It was great fun, I appreciated it and am very interested in making friends with friends from the Philippines.

PH Languages are not similar to Spanish since they came from different language family (PH and ID languages are from Austronesian language family while Spanish is from Indo-European language family).
While loanwords can be seen in some Philippine languages (especially Spanish), one creole based in Spanish can be similar and that is Chavacano from Zamboanga.
