someone else doing this ibc shower idea used a pallet in the bottom for standing on which looked really good. i like the open top and the open doorway. nice bush touch
Im making my IBC shower now. I like your idea with the pressurized tank. How about a larger compressed air tank, 100 psi ish, with a 40 psi regulator plumbed into the water tank.
Look at 12 Volt water pumps and a 12 Volt deep cycle battery to pump water through your on demand heater. That's working well for us. Throw a Solar Trickle Charger on the battery to keep it topped off.
Thanks reddog! That sounds good, I was just trying to spend as little money as I could for this project. I like the idea of the trickle charger though, so the battery doesn't get cooked.
We built one of these four years ago still going strong .
Great work!
This is BRILLIANT!! Mr Heater makes a propane shower with its own pump so all you need is water.
Thanks! This one does too, but I didn't need it because I ran the hose through the bush from a water tank higher on the hill.

Thanks Daniel,
Yeah, I think a plastic pallet would be a great idea for the bottom, timber ones might get a bit foul.

Thanks! Yep, it'd totally work, good idea. I was just seeing how far I could go without using power. All depends on your setup. Good luck!
it is lovely! nice job dude!
Thanks mate!
I like how you do that make a shower out of them
Thanks Sam!

Ah, the joys of living off grid and close to nature. Permaculture and the birds go hand in hand.
