Jason, good thinking on your part! One thing might help you. Always put a piece of wood or rubber under your battery if your leaving it on the ground. The battery will discharge slowly if you leave it on the ground for a long period of time! Good to see Adam again! Great choice for you all and Adam. He is going to learn and you might be a better teacher then others give you credit for!
I'm a big Crocker fan in general, and i particularly respect and enjoy the "make do with what we've got handy (and a minimum of extra parts/pieces/tools and learn by doing" approach). Cheers!
NEVER GIVE UP!!! If one thing doesn’t work- try another way! I love how you always figure it out!! I also love how you show what it took to accomplish a finished task! 💜 to everyone on SDR.
Glade you got the water 💦. figured out. Happy for you. Your ranch hand is very modest. His work so far speaks for itself. He is hard working young man that's hard to come by these days with kid's his age.Cant wait to see what you get into next.
The camper is setup on a 12 volt pump setup like the one you just hooked up, it was an easy figure out...lol 😂😅 Be sure the pump is an "on demand" pump, it'll last a long time. The camper can just have a supply line ran to it, the pump set up will do the rest. Love ya'll ❤️
You are a smart cookie. It's nice you're helping Adam out,he's a sweet kid and a hard worker! Have a great day!!! ❤ 🇺🇸 ❤ That would be sweet to do something for Danielle!!
Ingenuity and persistence gets the job done!! Great job getting the gas pedal fixed and the water set up for the studio and trailer!! Ya'll are pushing forward getting things taken care of and I am excited for Ya'll and for Adam. Ya'll enjoy the day and keep on keepin on ✌️ ❣️ ✨️
Don’t forget the pressure regulator for the studio. You gave me some ideas for getting water to my barn so thank you! I have a 275 gallon ibc tote i was planning to use and just use gravity, but i like your pump idea better.
Great job once again. I really like how you never give up and get her done. There is nothing better than a nice shower after working out in the heat. It is so nice to have help. Be good and have fun. Hugs and blessings to you always
THIS IS AMAZING JAY. You worked your ass off trying to get that pump going for water and you DID IT! So super happy for you guys. Can't wait to see what you have planned for Danielle.🥰❤️
Jason, you're so awesome and inspiring us all. Can't tell you how much we appreciate all your innovative ideas and that you don't give up until you come up with a solution. Adam is so much like you in that he works hard and comes up with solutions to problems. Love you all. Sherry 🥰🙏💞🏡🐕🐖🐂🐐🐓🐥🚿
Great job Jason on installing your waterline. I’m glad that the shower and running water is working well. You have really stepped up to the plate and you gave it your all. Congratulations!! Until next time.
Never fails , Jason can do it !! It’s amazing to me ! I’d get all frustrated … Jason he just thinks about and boom DONE !! Love watching them ❤️✌️and Adam 5000 , wow , congrats that’s awesome I’m happy for you , that big chance you took is really coming through for you !! Congratulations ❤✌️
Just an FYI, do not put too much pressure in it because that is a pressurized bladder. You put too much pressure in it and it’s just like a regular bike in her tube it’ll explode and then it’s useless so if you get one of these check the specs on how much you pressurize the tank, you put water in it that’s another reason why your pressure may be changing
Years ago in my camper I put in a aftermarket Windsor Washer pump and for a switch I put a doorbell right at the sink so when you wanted water you just push the doorbell button it was better than pumping water by hand and it was cheap😁😁😁
That Harbor Freight pump, the green one needs a check valve on the input side to hold the pressure. Without one the pressure is escaping backwards up your input hose
You are correct I have the same pump as well and when I was watching the video the first thing I said is that you need a check valve. so I’m hoping he sees our comments and gets a check valve for that pump and it will work great I bet.
Jason, you amaze me how you know to do all of this to make the place comfortable you you both. You will figure it out… maybe it needs syphning to get the air n water to flow. Great! Go Adam ❤️❤️👏👏👏
9:24 Omg.... thank you so much ❤ I ment to comment yesterday but the hubby and I ran out to get the Pump, battery and the solar panel now our barn has running rain water. 😊 we no longer have to open the valve to give the animals water. ❤ Hubby has connected a fill valve and a float in there water tank so when the water gets low it will refill on it's own....thanks for the tip we sure did appreciate it very much ❤
Put your new battery up on 2blocks with a piece of wood it will ruin it sitting directly on the ground ! Love the progress ! Nice way to get water Jason u always amaze me with your tricks ❤❤❤
Keep that black tank with your well. Put a float switch inside the black water tank and then run the water to the camper shed/house from the black tank. That way your well pump will last much much much longer by only turning on maybe a couple times a week to fill that black tank up.
Amazing! You pulled it off jason,no matter what you get it done. Congratulations to adam to hitting 5k🎉🎉. He gave great advice. Love his smile & determination. He going to do awesome on SDR. Much 💞 from NC
Chad on Adler Farms (NE Oklahoma) said he was so suprised that his septic tank cost so much less than he thought it would. I bet you could find the video about a month ago, might have a company name in it.
Going off grid. For a small battery I'd go with the Bourge 1100 it will power the 12volt pump. And a large 12volt fridge for 600on sale. Can receive 200 watts of solar to charge.
One more thing, the propane water heater will burn your house down! Put it on a 4x4 post on the outside of the building. Make a little tin cover for a roof over the top of the post 12” x 12” or so. Keeps the rain out. I collect rainwater in florida using your same system idea. My kinks are already worked out. Any questions answer back for a private link. Good luck
And do adjust your switch the way you want your water pressure in the switch also adjust it the correct way there’s two adjustment bolts one for the pressure and one for the shut off pressure so they don’t pressurize and blow the bladder
Hey guys .. you should use one of the dog houses for a pump house for ur water tank keep batteries and pump dry mount solar on roof and butt house up to tank 😊
Your air pressure needs to be 2-3 psi lower than the water pressure you have your switch set to. Usually the factory setting for the pressure switch is to engage at 30 psi, and cut off at 50 psi. You would want your air pressure to be at 47-48 psi. Each full rotation of that nut will change the water pressure by about 3 psi, so keep track of how many times you rotate it in any direction so you can get it back to factory settings if you need to.
Hey buddy how you doing today hope you're having a great day we love you Danielle 💕😘😘😘😘😽💘😽💕😘😘😘😘 it was our buddy today tell everybody to have a great day too
Congratulations on getting running water on the property. Proud of the progress going on the property of ya'll and Adam. 🐘🙌🕊🙏✌️🌞🖖❤️🤟🍨👍💝👈💐🫶🙂👌🏠👏😎👋keep on with the progress.
Jason you might want to get a pressure switch, that should fix the problem. Something you might look into getting would be a backhoe attachment to dig the trench for the water lines
You will need to put the battery up on something and probably build a cover for it as well to protect it from the elements... and have the battery work better I think. Course I know you will eventually be working on how to get water in the winter and keep the lines from freezing..
We did the same. 1 battery and a small panel will not be enough. We have 3 12v batteries and 100w panel, still struggles. These pumps also get hot after 1 shower and will shut off.the distance is more than its designed for. It's a temporary solution. Winter.... another story.... worse
Great video Jason Danielle will be thrilled with running water peadt shower and sink for them moment..and you will be working on other stuff as you go along..but one step closer and one thing writting off the list have a grwat weekend
Here's some constructive criticism from experience...... take that tank and build you a wooden structure to raise it off the ground 5 or 6 feet in the air , this allows you to use water pressure and gravity and also easier on the pump. Even if you use concrete columns wich will last a long time , the tank needs in the air 5 or 6 feet ......
I think that water tank is probably rated for 120 degrees. You might want to put some shade on it, bc a black tank in the texas? heat will probably surpass 120F.
Well done good vibes keep up the great attitude Jason you are being a good mentor for Adam he is a genuine good young man glad to see his already past the 5000 subscribers am enjoying watching you all. Showers tonight ❤️👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺❤️
Nice work on the “kiss”!! Jason you need to make a cover for the battery so it last little more. I heard before that we don’t leave a battery sitting direct on the floor. Idk if is true or not !! Good luck buddy
Jason put a check valve between the tank and uour harbor freight pump. The pressure pushes the water back into the tank not letting the pressure to build up and shut off. Re read your manual for the pump or the are many well pump pressure switch video’s on youtube. Good luck. About 10 minute repair. Always watching / fans. Shortyand pr
You probably could’ve used the green smart pump if you adjusted the screws on the pressure switch. It has an adjustable pressure switch on it and under the plastic cover there is a nut with a spring under it and you can adjust the water pressure by turning that nut. Typical pressure is [cut on]30/50 psi [cut off] … the other possible problem is low air pressure in the tank…… that’s the bell like side cover (shiny metal) with the valve stem in the middle …. That’s for adding air…. Without air the pressure switch wont work
Id move the toilet next to the sink then flip the door it wont be often someone's sitting on it same time you want to shower. The opening just to small. Beside you can install the tp role on the sink side next to the toilet.
Glad you figured it out way to go always being positive helps great job Jason can’t wait to see what’s up next I’m pumped for you Hi Adam love ❤️ you guys great work
Jason I like how you explain everything when you’re fixing you fix your tractor you’re put in water into Studio you got water for the camper I like how Adam is working hard to he loves cutting the grass he likes feeding the animals and having fun doing it I like How wash the truck that you gave him you’re a good man Jason Daniels a good woman Adam keep your head up keep doing a good job

Yes yes,so happy you used the hose to fill tank and get the water to the house. So happy for you all.

What is the pressure regulator for?
So if my shower is going to be below the tote, there is no need for a pump? And if I’m using gravity the water heater needs to also be below the tote?
What about winter
Hi Jason, you always figure it out. So proud of you. Miss you and Danielle the weekend, luckily she is on her way to the ranch. Love you both💕💕
Great job once again. I really like how you never give up and get her done. There is nothing better than a nice shower after working out in the heat. It is so nice to have help. Be good and have fun. Hugs and blessings to you always

This right here is why I love watching your RUclips channel.
Just an FYI, do not put too much pressure in it because that is a pressurized bladder. Wow, I'm kinda digging this "responsible" Jason.
Super excited for the channel growth.
Keep up the great work.
Huge love ❤️ from Canada.
you’re welcome!
They will take it away from you then it will become worthless.
That Harbor Freight pump, the green one needs a check valve on the input side to hold the pressure. Without one the pressure is escaping backwards up your input hose
I have the same pump and ran into this same problem so if that doesn’t work then something is wrong with the pump.
You are correct I have the same pump as well and when I was watching the video the first thing I said is that you need a check valve. so I’m hoping he sees our comments and gets a check valve for that pump and it will work great I bet.
The air bladder is supposed to be set to 23psi per the manual. I believe that is empty without any water in the pump.
It’s nice to have someone from RUclips to help with subs, it takes people years to gain that many subs, great job helping Adam out! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Jason, you amaze me how you know to do all of this to make the place comfortable you you both. You will figure it out… maybe it needs syphning to get the air n water to flow. Great! Go Adam ❤️❤️👏👏👏
Hey J&D and Adam at SDR. Keep on going strong and wish all the best .
Just curious - what are you doing with waste water (shower, toilet . . .)?
Same question. We need an off grid system for waste yikes 😳 lol
So happy for you and Danielle to have help ! He's awesome!❤ Great job Jason fixing everything!😊
I have the exact same welder. I am very pleased with it's performance. In my experience it works just as good as bigger much heavier expensive welders
Hey Jason and Danielle and Adam. Keep up the good work
Look into getting you a macerator pump for your black water. It'll grind and pump uphill for about 100 yards. Where you pump it into is on you.
That worked out great!! Things just keep getting better and better at SDR! 😊
Jason I've been a fan for years I enjoy and respect your way of living off grid even though your not 100 % off grid.

I work at Harbor Freight and this is amazing. Thank you for showing me what to go with when im ready to get started.
Chad on Adler Farms (NE Oklahoma) said he was so suprised that his septic tank cost so much less than he thought it would. I bet you could find the video about a month ago, might have a company name in it.
Literally all you needed was a check valve and you wouldn’t have had any issues with the green pump.
Going off grid. For a small battery I'd go with the Bourge 1100 it will power the 12volt pump. And a large 12volt fridge for 600on sale. Can receive 200 watts of solar to charge.
It is not the bladder of your pump. Check valve and reset the pressure switch 30 lbs low on and 50 lbs off just turn the spring nuts as needed.
One more thing, the propane water heater will burn your house down! Put it on a 4x4 post on the outside of the building. Make a little tin cover for a roof over the top of the post 12” x 12” or so. Adam, stay kind and Humble in life.
And do adjust your switch the way you want your water pressure in the switch also adjust it the correct way there’s two adjustment bolts one for the pressure and one for the shut off pressure so they don’t pressurize and blow the bladder
Make sure you get the battery off the ground. Great little off grid setup with a few little tweaks here and there.
Look at you just a getting it!
Hope everyone is having a good day.
Nice you got that water situation figured out!
What's up? Danielle and Jason, Adam. So happy for you guys. Keep up the good work but don't work too hard ❤️❤️❤️✌️
Sounds like the air bladder inside the pressure tank, on the green pump, may have a hole in it. Its letting the air escape into the water.
Good you are handy & can fix things @ SDR 👍 nice to have Adam there to help out 😊
Awesome rigger you are. Trial and error and you’re spot on always work to do and fixing. Love watching your life and editing skills.
What to do about a septic system? Great job getting water
Hey guys .. you should use one of the dog houses for a pump house for ur water tank keep batteries and pump dry mount solar on roof and butt house up to tank 😊
Your air pressure needs to be 2-3 psi lower than the water pressure you have your switch set to. Usually the factory setting for the pressure switch is to engage at 30 psi, and cut off at 50 psi. Each full rotation of that nut will change the water pressure by about 3 psi, so keep track of how many times you rotate it in any direction so you can get it back to factory settings if you need to.
You should also get that battery elevated off of the ground
Hey buddy how you doing today hope you're having a great day we love you Danielle 💕😘😘😘😘😽💘😽💕😘😘😘😘 it was our buddy today tell everybody to have a great day too
You should look into ramjet setup and also put the tank above the house. You might never need the pump if the tank is above the house.
If I could suggest a 1/2" preassure regulater set at about 60 psi, save those plumbing fixtures
Congratulations on getting running water on the property. Proud of the progress going on the property of ya'll and Adam. 🐘🙌🕊🙏✌️🌞🖖❤️🤟🍨👍💝👈💐🫶🙂👌🏠👏😎👋keep on with the progress.
If you don't have one, you need a check valve, one way valve , on the intake... for the drummon system..I have the same system
Great Job Jason!!! Thank you for taking us along on your day.
323 thousand subscribers outstanding Jason and all the wonderful animals too and Danielle and your new farm hand as well

Jason you did it. Running water ! 😊glad all things are comming together

You still have to and then bury Auto pipelines for fries protector battery and the pump by building a shed around, 👍✌️

Great work. I want to put a water system in for a canning kitchen. It looks like something like what you set up would do the trick.
It’s going in the right direction … you’ll make it work! 💛🍀💛
Nice work on the “kiss”!! Jason you need to make a cover for the battery so it last little more.
I heard before that we don’t leave a battery sitting direct on the floor. Idk if is true or not !! Good luck buddy
When are you suppose to get a waterline inground from the well?

Nice setup once you can get some supplies you can build a box to cover the pump and battery from the elements
Air bladder in the drummond pump is busted. Thats why it wont hold air. Great set up you went with. Keep up the hard work.
What if you put the big tank up as a water tower and gravity feed to the house?
I LOVE how you figure it out!!
Run your gray water into another tank put a pump on it and use it to water your grass and your flower bed soapy water is good for grass😷😷
You could make a cement pad for the pump & cover it with a minishelter
Awesome job with the water pump!! Water!!!!!! Yay!!!!!
Great job Jason! Thank you for sharing your journey! 🙏 💜
That green well pump probably needs 1 in or 1.5 in feed line .that is probably why it couldn't keep up.
Jason you need a backhoe attachment for the tractor that would be a huge help with all you have going on around the ranch
Thanks so much. Ohhhh so much love to you. YES! You FAILED FORWARD!!!!
Glad you got your running water👏👏👏👏
Glad you figured it out way to go always being positive helps great job Jason can’t wait to see what’s up next I’m pumped for you Hi Adam love ❤️ you guys great work
3:50 - just replace rubber bladder and add back pressure into tank

You need a check valve on the inlet side. That pump requires a check valve. They are available at your local hardware store. There is nothing wrong with your pump.
Try a check valve on supply side might be loosing pressure on backside but i am not a plumber
