Space is still boring. What they have done is gone in a complete opposite direction and turned what was originally a lite survival game into a full fledged survival game with base building. Now thats not completely bad. The game has improved quite a lot over its time. But lets not fool ourselves. What was originally promised as the "Experience" has never totally come to futrition. Something I'll never stop saying is how cool it would be to have a rare city type planet biome where foliage generation is basically swapped out for skyscraper models, and the ground takes on a metallic texture with orthogonal geometry. The "native life" could essentially be alien hover vehicles and pedestrians. Would be cool as hell.
Its interesting how starfield has so many more characters with full voice lines and a much deeper story .and NMS has zero VA's and the core story is actually kind of the same, yet NMS feels like it has so much more life to it and feels so much easier to get immersed in.
Took em 8yrs to get here. Starfield came out 11 months ago. Comparing the two is ridiculous. Nms at 11 months was on nobody's mind and had nothing going for it. Comparing them makes no sense when one has essentially a decade of extra development. But nah keep being dumb kids.
