When we say take your time, we mean it! No need to be anxious! There's this other youtube channel called MojaveD, he's in his 70s and just started gaming. He's been posting RDR2 gameplay and has gotten like 40k subscribers within a couple of months and we all enjoy it for the experience of him exploring and learning new things etc etc. I'd imagine a lot of viewers are like me where they kinda multitask during these kinds of videos so we don't mind the entire gaming process! I'll watch these while I'm doing my makeup, doing dishes, or winding down for bed etc. Try not to worry too much :)
Just by the way, if you notice a raven, there’s a tarot card nearby! They’re also going to be hidden and not just necessarily sitting out in view - like, when y’all saw the raven on the ac/electricity unit, the card was around on the back of the unit. Nooks are crannies are your friends! And definitely feel no shame in turning the lighting up… the game can get a little silly when you can see everything, but also a lot less frustrating and you’ll find more evidence. Hey guys, I think increasing the brightness might be a good idea, the game is really dark the whole way through and it's a little hard to see! My boys! ABSOLUTELY loving this channel! Binge watching as we speak...as a side note since The Quarry and Until Dawn were both developed by the same peeps...the flamethrower dude in Until Dawn was played by the writer/director Larry Fessenden as a cameo, how fun. A few game suggestions would be the Dark Anthologies especially House of Ashes, My Friendly Neighbohood, Raft and you would LOVE The Forest a survival game mixed with a bit of horror(as multiplayer/multi screens at once) thank you so much for this, I'm in LOVE here
You guys should look into the TellTale Walking Dead Game Series, it’s not couch co op but it’s a great choice altering story decisions and has quick time events as well!
The fact that I bought this game as a pre birthday present... and the events in it are happening on my actual birthday, June 24th 😍 That was a true double treat! And now you guys are playing it? A triple treat indeed! 🥰 So LET'S GOOOO 🥳
I'm loving that you guys are getting into these Anthology games, every one of them gets better and they're all such a fun ride. It's a blast getting to enjoy games with you guys. The Couch Co-Op mode on the Supermassive Anthology games is great, each person selects their characters at the start and the game prompts you to pass off the controller when the character changes.
I hope you guys do coop and the main reason it feels more horror story like. That is everyone is given either A character or 2 them a pair to play as. So your end goal in the game is for your characters to survive which might mean your choices can screw over the other players or possible saving their lives. It makes more fun not knowing if your decisions will help your friends or not.
Maybe a dumb request.. but could you guys make playlists out of the games you play? I enjoy watching them back to back but my watch later list is getting out of hand 🤭 love to watch you guys enjoy these games!
Guys... I am very happy y'all r playing such good games.... My friend is suffering from pneumonia and I show him ur videos... He becomes happy when he sees ur reactions n gaming... Thank you guysssssss 🎉
Tip. If you need to get the bags to bring them to the car make sure to explore everywhere else before getting the bags. It will end that scene and you’ll miss the possibility to get more clues or conversations between characters.
WHAT I just finished the newest episode of Until Dawn thinking "oh I wish they'll play The Quarry, too" but I did NOT expect THIS soon 🤣 hyped * This is definitely very dark, but also for me the video is very "stuttering" up and down with cutscenes for some reason. I don't recall this being the game's style
If you want to avoid muting the music, this game does have a streamer mode to play dmca free songs. That being said, i have heard a few youtubers say that this game specifically has one or two "dmca free" songs that are in fact, not dmca free.
The original music is all so perfectly perfect, the "free" music they picked to replace it stinks and does not capture the correct mood at all. I'd prefer streamers get the best experience possible and not worry about viewers hearing it since anyone watching this will have played already anyway.
Lb and rb stand for left and right bumper, lt rt left and right trigger. Also in this game try to find as many tarot cards as u can, if u don't grab it u can go bk and try again. It's similar to the totems in until dawn showing u possible future events u can then choose to either go through with or avoid
YESS YOU GUYS ARE FINALLY PLAYING THE DARK ANTHOLOGY!! please play house of ashes as well! it also has as amazing cast and arguably the best choice based horror game
I was busy with other stuff but I finally finished watching the video 😅 I wasn’t expecting to see you guys start this yet as you haven’t finished until dawn but I’m glad to see you playing it 😁
I'm glad you started this one! I'm going to finish watching UD first then return here.. imo the Tarot cards in this game are WAY LESS HELPFUL than the Totems in UD. However you can go into the menu and re-watch them and they're much more visible.
The old woman is played by Grace Zabriskie, she’s been in a lot of movies and she was in Twin Peaks. Max was played by Skyler Gisondo, super recognizable face if you’ve ever seen him before. Kaitlyn is Brenda Song of Disney fame (and Macaulay Culkin’s wife), Abigail is in fact Ariel Winter, and Ryan is Justice Smith from the Dungeons & Dragons movie. That’s what I knew them from at least. The cop was Ted Raimi and Mr. Hackett is David Arquette!
The capture card was glitching out during this video but it actually added to the immersion. The video was jumping up and down like a VHS player with a worn out head. 😅😅😅
Great game choice! So far most you've picked are all games I've watched tons of people play lol. One thing about you guys not wanting to spend to much time not giving us content by exploring and looking for stuff. You need to remember we have a skip button if we getting bored of watching you explore. We can just skip to when you finally find the stuff and return to story.
Oh man, following your journey here on RUclips is such a delight! I never would have thought I'd ever see you do playthroughs, let alone Supermassive games haha!
Heyyy I wasn’t expecting you to play this game! It’s one of the few games I’ve played several times. I’m super interested to see what choices you pick. FYI: I believe there’s a couch co-op mode where you can each pick what characters you want to play as and it tells you when to pass the controller. You (or someone else, because spoilers) can look up which character combos are best for equal playtime and story purposes. My personal recommendation would be: Player 1, Laura Dylan Emma Nick. Player 2, Jacob Kaitlyn Ryan Abigail.
Your arcade channel puts out so much Premium content. I am having a hard time to watch all of it. But I recently played The Quarry and now I am watching the shit out of this series. And your hero playthrough in Detroit is also on my watch list. Thank you guys, so much for everything. You have become one of my top channels to watch.
Ahh it is so fun to watch, everything was great, but soooo dark 😁 like really this game normally is so much more lighter, do you have to look into it ☺️ and for sure you can look around even more, there is a lot to find....😉
I am so glad you started this game it is one of my favorites. The more you play these types of games the easier finding clues gets. I recommend the game Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. The story and game play puzzles I thought were really cool. You should at least check out the trailer.
You really need to explore in these games. There are things you need to find. Also the gaps in logic are usually due to the game accounting for whether your find something or not like the ribcage. You just have to overlook that stuff.
If you like these, I hope you play all the Dark Pictures Games. If I remember correctly, it isn't the same people who worked on Until Dawn, just the same studio and you can tell. I personally was disappointed by all the games but since I started them, I'm obligated to finish them all. A lot of others seem to enjoy them and you all may too! I recommend Devil in Me next unless you want to start from game 1 though you don't have to play them in order. They are all self contained stories, they just give you a sneak peek at the following game.
So excited for this! Don't stress too much about trying to be a pro gamer, I have spent the past 10 years of my life gaming almost daily and I still managed to kill almost all the character in my own Quarry play through 😅 This one is a hard one to keep everyone alive in my opinion so just have fun and be ready for an absolutely wild time lol (I would also like to recommend "The Devil in Me" at some point. It's by the same devs as The Quarry and Until Dawn and is, imo, the scariest of the franchise which I'm sure Oak would very much appreciate :))
Don't worry about taking your time, take your time I love watching you all play video games the longer the video the better😄🙌🏿 Just take your time and enjoy the games you play please.
i think you should do co-op bc then you'd each be responsible for ur own characters which adds a lot to gameplay also maybe have an editor or friend watch other gameplays so you guys know where to stop a video. You often stop in awkward places in ur vids and there's like stop points. Little hope and house of ashes would be great to see in couch co-op btw! great job so far:)
Please change the subtitles text colours if you can, alot of it blended with the scene. An opaque background or text border can fix it. Also if possible increase the game brightness. It could be the elgato box or Xbox settings. Cheers! Good vid and looking forward to the next one.
Holy crap y'all are playing The Quarry!!!! I was gonna recommend this after Until Dawn. Wanted you to finish it first since this is technically kinda a until dawn 2. They just couldnt name it that cause of techy copyright ownership stuff. Now remember fellas you are trying to keep EVERYONE alive!! Have fun, plus it has Dewey & Sam Raimi's bro. Be ready at any time to push buttons!!Good Luck❤❤
Omg, I was actually going to recommend this game after you finished Until Dawn! Binge watching as we speak...as a side note since The Quarry and Until Dawn were both developed by the same peeps...the flamethrower dude in Until Dawn was played by the writer/director Larry Fessenden as a cameo, how fun. A few game suggestions would be the Dark Anthologies especially House of Ashes, My Friendly Neighbohood, Raft and you would LOVE The Forest a survival game mixed with a bit of horror(as multiplayer/multi screens at once) thank you so much for this, I'm in LOVE here
Let’s go!!! All my 3 of the best stories games are being played, you guys make my day!
You guys should look into the TellTale Walking Dead Game Series, it’s not couch co op but it’s a great choice altering story decisions and has quick time events as well!
I second this!
The fact that I bought this game as a pre birthday present... and the events in it are happening on my actual birthday, June 24th 😍
That was a true double treat!
And now you guys are playing it? A triple treat indeed! 🥰 So LET'S GOOOO 🥳
I'm so ready for this playthrough. This game is incredible.
Not dumb at all! We have those on our main channel!!! -OAK
@@davidbaye3758 oh alright great! Then I'll definitely check them out over there. Thank you very much!
Guys... I am very happy y'all r playing such good games.... My friend is suffering from pneumonia and I show him ur videos... He becomes happy when he sees ur reactions n gaming... Thank you guysssssss 🎉
I'm sooo excited for this game, this first part was already so intriguing. Can't wait for you to continue!
Tip. If you need to get the bags to bring them to the car make sure to explore everywhere else before getting the bags. It will end that scene and you’ll miss the possibility to get more clues or conversations between characters.
Badd medicine putting in the work! 🔥🔥 appreciate the hustle with all your content
WHAT I just finished the newest episode of Until Dawn thinking "oh I wish they'll play The Quarry, too" but I did NOT expect THIS soon 🤣 hyped
* This is definitely very dark, but also for me the video is very "stuttering" up and down with cutscenes for some reason. I don't recall this being the game's style
If you want to avoid muting the music, this game does have a streamer mode to play dmca free songs. That being said, i have heard a few youtubers say that this game specifically has one or two "dmca free" songs that are in fact, not dmca free.
i kinda enjoy them listening to the original music
The original music is all so perfectly perfect, the "free" music they picked to replace it stinks and does not capture the correct mood at all. I'd prefer streamers get the best experience possible and not worry about viewers hearing it since anyone watching this will have played already anyway.
Its incredible guys how you grew on me. I enjoy almost everything you produce so keep it up!
I was busy with other stuff but I finally finished watching the video 😅
I wasn’t expecting to see you guys start this yet as you haven’t finished until dawn but I’m glad to see you playing it 😁
I'm glad you started this one!
Note to self: Never step out in front of Mason Quinn's vehicle.
I absolutely love this game. It's my favorite of the Supermassive game catalogue!
I hope you will also play The Dark Pictures Anthology games
Greetings from Chicago ✌️🍿
We would love to see you guys play A WAY OUT it's a masterpiece that you can play together with 2 controllers 🔥
Absolutely agree, please check it out!
Would be perfect for this channel and these guys
@Steelydon yh it takes two is d real masterpiece.
This filming setup with a duo looks LOVELY
I am so glad you started this game it is one of my favorites. The more you play these types of games the easier finding clues gets. I recommend the game Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. The story and game play puzzles I thought were really cool. You should at least check out the trailer.
You really need to explore in these games. There are things you need to find. Also the gaps in logic are usually due to the game accounting for whether your find something or not like the ribcage. You just have to overlook that stuff.
You can also activate streaming mode in the settings which has music that won’t be copyrighted.
The excitement i had when i saw you posted this!!!!! You guys are fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I'm so excited!!! Bless you guys
HOLY SHIT! This is a GREAT GAME. I did not know y’all were playing this. 3 amazing gameplays all at once? THANK YALL!!
Whatttt? You guys are spoiling us 😁 x
i think you should do co-op bc then you'd each be responsible for ur own characters which adds a lot to gameplay
also maybe have an editor or friend watch other gameplays so you guys know where to stop a video. You often stop in awkward places in ur vids and there's like stop points. Little hope and house of ashes would be great to see in couch co-op btw! great job so far:)
Oh hell yes! Haven't watched yet but wanted to say how hyped I am that you're getting deeper into this series, I fucking love these games!
just found out yall play games im so excited to watch all these videos!!🙂↕️
There's a menu u can check to see what cards and other things you've collected like letters ect
Be ready at any time to push buttons!!Good Luck❤❤
yeah but they have nothing to do with each other story wise
Omg, I was actually going to recommend this game after you finished Until Dawn! If you want to play more cinematic games in the future, I’d love to see you play Life is Strange, and possibly also the sequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm. They’re both amazing games that I really recommend. Keep up the good playthroughs!🔥
Should be doing couch co-op. It predetermines what characters each of you plays rather than handing the controller off randomly.
We’re gonna continue with the story as is, but we’re going to choose characters to each play so we effectively are doing the same thing! -OAK
I gotcha, was just explaining that couch co-op is designed for this type of play. Have fun!
Please turn the brightness up, I understand its dark for more spookyness but I genuinely can't see anything. Love the game selection👍
This is very similar game play wise to until dawn, excited u guys r playing both atm. Def should do the resident evil games at some point! They have an amazing storyline throughout all of them
Love that you're playing this! Also yes, you should absolutely be doing couch co-op mode
Dude in the white reminds me of when my grandma tries to use FaceTime and blames it not working on the phone lol
Spoiling us with your game choice reaction videos boys !!!!! This and until dawn still on the go 👏👏👏
Sooo happy that you guys are playing this. I completely forget that Sam Raimais brother is in this game.
I wonder if GhostFace will make a guest appearence.
