I will be thinking of you and your family at this tough time. Why is it everything happens at once, it always does Ruth. It gets so conflicting. Thanks for sharing your lovely podcast, it’s my favourite. I love your Ruthie shawl, it’s sooo pretty, I have the pattern and some yarn but haven’t cast on as yet, just cast on the Maurice cowl and have a couple of other wips on the needles at the moment.

My sister and I joke about being in the sandwich generation and we we feel like a very squashed filling at times!
We’ve been through a lot the last few years and have proved God’s faithfulness over and over again in some very intense and difficult times. ❤ If we were sitting down for a cuppa I could share my testimony of God’s faithfulness and the constant reminders He gave me of His love through it all.

About a title: for me, its more about finding an old podcast if I want to go back and rewatch a part. A unique name makes it easier.

Ruth thank you for reminding me some of the God’s promises I will definitely be opening my Bible to read them again 😊 I am crocheting a shawl for our Pastors wife, there son is in hospital after an accident and tomorrow he will be have another operation if I can ask that you pray for his recovery 🙏 It is always a pleasure to see what you knitting on 😊

Thank you so much for the encouraging words at the end. I’m currently knitting a blanket for a friend. She will be going to the hospital in October for a stem cell transplant. I have been looking for verses to pray over the blanket as I knit.
I try to watch every one of your podcasts because you are one of my favorites- it really doesn’t matter how you title them.

Hello Ruth- yet again your scriptures come with perfect timing. With 1 wk until dghtr goes to Univ. my MIL had stroke and is near end of life. I am sitting w her everyday and will be sure to share these and other scripture w her that while she Transitions she may have peace knowing God is with her 😊

Actually, it was the words knitting the emotions that made me stop and watch. I'd decided I needed the salve of my knitting and a podcast, had made a coffee and clicked on your podcast. What a blessing. Thank you. As a church & community worker I was feeling overwhelmed today, and needed to quieten a busy mind. A well spent 59 minutes😂❤.

Hi Ruth, I'm a new subscriber and so happy to have found your little corner of the internet. I'm recently retired and living in Dorset, I love the Lord too and I really appreciate your devotional section. I recently lost my Mum and certainly know about the challenge of feeling pulled in all directions. Our sons are in their 20s and 30s but I help out with after school care of one of my grandsons who has special needs. I'm an avid knitter and 'yarn collector' but I also crochet, make quilts and dabble in dressmaking. You have introduced me to some new designers and patterns and my Ravelry favourites has expanded. You and your family are in my prayers.
