I love you daddy-o. I miss you. Thank you for sending me this song. You are the strongest man. And I've Never seen anyone handle brain cancer with such strength- chin up till your last breath. Rest in paradise ❤️ I love you ALWAYS
It's the first time I heard very much by Mudcrutch and I really like the way "Don't Do Me Like That" and "I Don't Scare Easy", there was a bit of country and rock together. I really enjoyed them both. Never stop making your wonderful music for the world to hear and smile.
I've just heard this song for the first time, month after Tom's passing. Absolutely incredible. Something wrong with the corporate suits that didn't push this one for airplay. RIP Mr. Petty. To reference the Bible, you made good use of your talents
My wife and I just watched that movie and i like to see the credits and this was on ! I had never herd it !!! CLASSIC Tom Petty !!!! 2/18/18 SPOKANE WA !!! ( Appaloosa) It wasn't a bad movie just randomly selected that chanel, at first i was so,so !! But found myself getting into it ! Alot of good actors in it !!!! Well done !!!
As for the unforeseeable... well, it was out there waiting for me...I headed straight into the setting sun and rode west at an easy pace...It was gonna be a long ride and there was no reason to hurry.(appaloosa)
returning to this song with all the helpful comments; this is a vr dark song, written in a period when Tom Petty was happy, I mean the right soul mate, respect from his peers etc. So why is this song so powerful? Because something in him means it, "Im a shadow at the back of the hall" etc. The speaker in this musical poem has been damaged irrevocably, no matter what. And yet it is so good and true, musically, that it is uplifting; one hears determination somewhere at the back of the hall; the musical delivery is wry, not angry, and the chorus is all about courage and persistence. I return to this song because of its affiliation with Wont Back Down; the singer/narrator here is so much more vulnerable and thus, I think braver. Nunc dimittus (sp) was what I learned in school, however littered with spelling mistakes. Now let thy servant go in peace.
In my house are many mansions -- in Tom Petty & Heartbreakers music are many mansions that we can each individually inhabit with the whole of our individual being. I have never encountered contemporary music like this. Intensely personal and yet a kind of inclusivity , (sorry cat wants attention); emotional Gestalt … sorry for psycho babble. Just powerful music and poetry conjoined.
Driving around the ranch/ farm area of Marion county thinking about my past👩 & Tom Petty & the upcoming T.P. weekend show up the road in Gainesville. T.P. born& died this month. October🍁🍀🍂fall in Florida. I don't scare easy fo sho from FL to NH to the Dakota's I'm not gonna run.👩
I lived with and loved someone who was/is schizophrenic (paranoid). I thought things might change. In A Beautiful Mind, John Nash realizes that he's had decades old relationships with people who never grow old, or change; especially that little girl. And he had a terrible time, but things really worked out. In my case, my partner was a beautiful man, shunted from place to place because no-one wanted to take him on. He was adopted at age 7 with his younger sister (18 months) because his mother was ritually beaten with a two by four and left with nothing, except begging in the street. He was a violently unruly boy. He could not protect his mother, and she gave him away. That was his perception. She loved him, as do I, even as he is no longer allowed to talk to me (I'm the devil, crack helps). This song helps me so much,

I can't get this song out of my mind. It's not simple; the lyrics and music are so so brilliant.
I saw him on my 30th bday (6-30-01) & man talk about a great show? 🖤🤘🏻🤤

Classic Tom Petty, loved the movie Appaloosa!
Words are so true in my life.. But in the end, it only hurt others unintentially
I still haven't seen it. Someone was going to send it to me on loan. It hasn't happened. Likely He Forgot 😂
Great song!!! Great movie!!!
a simple song....but fabulous..
Me neither.
I don't scare easy.

R.I.P.
Davvero molto bella questa canzone!❤️
Rest In Peace Tom, we all love you
Yeah I don't scare easy , great upload ,thank you very much
Great quality, great upload. Thanks!
Tom doesn't say "god" that aint never the same though, he says "I got a SCAR that aint never the same"
You're both wrong. "He says, I got a SKY that ain't never the same..."
I have always heard God and later on I've got a sin I ain't never confessed.
As for the unforeseeable...
well, it was out there waiting for me...I headed straight into the setting sun and rode west at an easy pace...It was gonna be a long ride and there was no reason to hurry.(appaloosa)
Realy good song.....I love you Tom Petty
This is the number 1 song to me
Appaloosa =]
this mudcrutch is great.
it's "I've got a SCAR"
THANK YOU! Too late to fix but I'm glad someone caught that.

Another one of those songs I sing to myself.

so fucking chill :)
damned straight
Homegirl. It's probably something the FBI didn't tell you about me
Uma das melhores canções que escutei durante minha vida, apenas seremos honestos, fato, linda.
It's ...."Now I got a "SCAR" that ain't never the same.."
Not "GOD"...
It sounds to me more like he is saying "I've been running like a vampire's zest", rather than "running like a man possessed".
❤️
AWESOME
yes yes good mudcrutch gread

I play this before going to kill somebody.

This song helps me so much,
