Joe is one of the US most underated guitarist of any style🤘👍
Y’all have GOT to watch Joe and Beth Hart do ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’ live in Amsterdam. It’s going to blow your minds. One of the best live performances of all time.
Ill Take Care of You is my favorite with Beth
Beth and Joe are at the top of their crafts individually, but were definitely born to share the same stage. “I’d Rather Go Blind” Live in Amsterdam is a must. Her voice will blow you away and his guitar solo will almost make you cry. “I’ll Take Care of You” at The Beacon Theater is another.
I listen to it sometimes and it still makes me tear up every time. Her voice is like no other. Beautiful stuff truly. Been supporting since 2018 fellas. Love yall ❤️, please review I’d rather go blind, you will be blown away.
I really can't figure out how they haven't done this yet. Seriously can't wait
@@johnrussell5941 I think the same thing! It so perfectly matches their preference. They're going to be blown away if they ever get to it
JOE BONAMASA
LIVE ROYAL ALBERT HALL
“Just got paid”
Joe and Beth Hart a great duo, check out "I'll Take Care of You" or "I'd Rather Go Blind".
I’ve tried to get them to do it for a long time. Lol. I’m hoping they’ll check it out. It could make their top ten reactions. They’re gonna love it.
i recommended those two for years, I’m gonna start again!
So awesome to see you react to this. Joe Bonamassa is my connection with my dad. I never really had a great relationship with him, but our love for Joe Bonamassa makes us bond. Seeing him live with my dad is a memory I will never forget.
That's deep and hits close to home. My Dad wasn't there most times. He wasn't a bad dad and he loved me, but him and my mom hated each other. I stupidly kept him out of my life, due to taking my mom's side without ever knowing all the facts(even when she would encourage me to go talk to him I wouldn't). They both weren't good for each other. So when I got older, and wanted to make amends for wasted time, he died. The last thing he ever said to me was, he was proud of me and loved me.
Beth Hart and Joe is a must!
So glad you guys enjoyed Joe Live, he and his band are amazing. You aint seen/heard nothing until you check out Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart perform "I'd Rather Go Blind" live in Amsterdam. PHEMONINAL. Goose bumps good.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Joe is a great performer live!! I'm lucky enough to see him 3× so far and I'll definitely go see him again. Thank u for this
I saw him at the IP Casino in Biloxi, MS back in 2017 and at Saenger Theatre in New Orleans in 2013 (I think). Both amazing shows.
@Joe Bonamassa lend us a fiver will ya
@Joe Bonamassa this all sounds wonderful but I've been hurt before
Check out Joe in Black Country Communion. The whole band shreds with Glenn Hughes on bass and Jason Bonham on drums.
Joe and these 4 other musicians from across the world had only met 3 days before they performed this awesome acoustic show. Using some unique instruments from days gone bye. And featuring short interviews from the performers. Live at the" Vienna Opera House" is a breathtaking experience.
The live version of the Ballad of John Henry is also amazing...well, Joe B doing anything live really is :-)
Joe B. is great, such an amazing guitarist. Thanks for doing a live of his.
Just saw Joe a few weeks ago one of the best live shows I've seen in years AWESOME!
Joe and Beth Hart playing "I'll Take Care of You." one of the best among many bests.
Royal Albert hall. The whole live event is worth watching but the bangers you will absolutely love are Just got Paid slow gin, and The ballad of John Henry. MUSTS.
Gotta throw in "Woke Up Dreaming" from that show. I love showing it to people who think they've seen good guitar playing.
One of the last concerts I went to was Bonamassa in St. Louis in 2015. The first half was an acoustic, global session and the last half was the electric blues for which he is known. The first half was one of the coolest and most memorable experiences I've enjoyed live.
You guys have come along way I've been following you since 2018 keep at it love you guys
Another great acoustic live performance is "Woke Up Dreaming" from the Live at Carnegie Hall album. It's a duet with Tina Guo on cello. Have to see it to believe it. On the bonus material with the blu-ray of this show, Joe says that in his mind he's already dialed "9" and "1" and is reaching for the other "1" by the time the song is over!
Yes, l agree his work with Beth are all great. I've seen Joe live. He is one of the best guitarists..ever. Slow Gin at Red Rocks. Mountain Time at Royal Albert Hall. Epic.
That performance was from a tour that was entirely acoustic. His typical album tours are mostly electric, but basically emulate whatever was used on the album recording, unless it is advertised as an all acoustic show. So the original studio version of this song is with his regular backing band and is with electric instruments, not acoustic. There are live recordings of both versions. It would be interesting to see your preference. I like both, but for this song I prefer this acoustic performance. He is great either way, but it is definitely a different sound. He will typically do at least some acoustic tunes at his regular shows, so I prefer that so you get a mix of both, but I also wish I could have caught this all acoustic tour as well, but I think it was a smaller, more limited tour at featured locations. The whole concert performance from the show you just watched is available on video and audio album, so at least we still get to experience it. I have seen him 3 times live. Awesome every time!
Actually Joel, JB opened for himself this tour. The first full set was acoustic, highlighted by Woke Up Dreaming, which he played by himself. ruclips.net/video/b3eGyShXTtw/видео.html Then after a 30-minute break, he played another full set electric. I recall my brother and I drove to Cleveland, OH to catch the opening show.
@@frankmarinucci9782 This is correct. I was at the Radio City Music Hall performance on this tour. He did a 3 hour set. First hour and a half was acoustic, second hour and a half was electric. Still one of the best shows I've ever been to.
I'll play the blues for you....is so gooood my favorite song of his ...I already have my ticket for Joe Bonomassa in my area in November can not wait,,,,,,,,,
Woke up dreaming is a must from Joe bonnamassa
The whole album is always playing in my home.
Joe Bonamassa What can I say?? First Class Blues Rocking guitarist!! 400 guitars and 400 amps in his collection and counting. He is the only entertainer that I like ALL his songs!!
High Water Everywhere live at Royal Albert Hall is fantastic Joe Bonamassa
If you really like Joey B you should check him out in a short-lived band called Black Country communion especially the song one last soul there's a killer live version of that out there he plays electric guitar in that song and he flat ass smokes
And a great opportunity to check out the legend that is Glenn Hughes too!
BCC will recording a new album soon 😃
You need to see that concert. It's one of his rare acoustic performances. Every song is great. It's the Vienna Opera House concert.
If you ever get the opportunity to see him live, it is an experience you won't forget. He is legit. Excellent show.
Lots of comments advising you guys to review his collaborations with Beth Hart. Can't agree more. Beth's voice is special. She and Joe are blazing hot together!
Saw him when he was in 7th grade. He had already played with B. B. King. He was incredible back then. He's crazy good now.
OK so this acoustic live song is really good BUT you really need to sample some knock down, drag out, bombastic Electric Guitar bangin Joe B like Just Got Paid, Blues Deluxe, So It's Like That
"Midnight Blues" Live at the Beacon Theater is flawless. Must See!!!
One of the greatest solos ever.
I have seen Joe live about a dozen times. His studio albums are very good. His live performances are phenomenal.Him, Adrian Belew Trio, and Steve Vai are three acts I will go out of my way for each and every time they tour near me.
"Sloe Gin" and "Had To Cry Today" (Blind Faith cover)
The Dustbowl Album is amazing.
Beth and Joe Please!! Live!!!
The Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope - Bloodhound Gang!!! Try it out, it’s a super fun song!
You have NOT lived until you see & hear the studio video of Joe & Jimmy Barnes performing "Stone Cold". Amazing!!!
Joe Bonamassa - Sloe Gin Live
I just knew Joe Bonamassa to be one of the best guitarist in last couple of decades. I just didn't know how good a musician he is and never had the excuse to check out more. This video gives me the initiative now. Awesome performance!
Guys you really need to hear Joe do “Breaking up Somebody’s Home “ off of Live at the Greek Theatre
The live version of The Ballad of John Henry off of the Live from Royal Albert Hall album is by far my favorite heavy performance by Joe you should absolutely check it out
This dude's a bad ass with the live acoustic and his band is top notch
Excellent performance and these reactions made my day! Definitely a bucket list concert.
That was amazing! Interesting to see him behind a folk guitar. Great reaction!
Dust Bowl was wonderful on this as well.
This was a Stripped back version at Joe's Acoustic show at The Vienna Opera House, The Album version is Fire 🔥 There is an Official Guitar version live at The Beacon Theatre too which is insane 😎
Live at Royal Albert Hall is a great album for him
I was lucky enough to see him at Radio City Music Hall, January 23rd, 2015. He did a mind-boggling 3-hour set. The first hour and a half was acoustic. The second hour and a half was electric. Still one of the best shows I've ever been to.
To see what he can really do with a guitar, I recommend "Woke Up Dreaming" at the Royal Albert Hall.
This isn't so much country, but blues and I am here for it.
Go old school Joe. “Blues Deluxe”. You will not be disappointed
I suggest you check out his video for Mountain Climbing. Joe Bonamassa is amazing!
Mountain climbing!!! is a total banger
Death - Flesh and the Power it Holds!!!
If the guy playing the keyboard looks familiar it's because he previously played with Stevie Ray Vaughan and double trouble names Reese wynans
If I remember he played with BB King at a young age.
Woke Up Dreaming, Blues Deluxe, Had To Cry Today, Sloe Gin, Another Kind of Love, The Ballad of John Henry, Slow Train, Dust Bowl, The Meaning of the Blues, Black Lung Heartache, You Better Watch Yourself, Prisoner, Driving Towards The Daylight, I Gave Up Everything for You, 'cept the Blues, Love Ain't a Love Song, Mountain Climbing, Drive, You Left Me Nothin' But the Bill and the Blues, Distant Lonesome Train. Live at the Greek Theatre - The Thrill Is Gone. British Blues Explosion Live - Tea for One-I Can't Quit You Baby. Christmas Comes But Once A Year, Christmas Date Blues, Santa Claus Is Back In Town,. Pick one. Or better yet - pick all!
Look up anything from his performance at the Royal Albert Music Hall. The entire performance is next level. That version of Sloe Gin is better than the album version to me. John Henry and Dust Bowl are also some great songs.
I think "Redemption" would blow there minds with the backing vocals it has. For a live track "Just Got Paid" is Fire and has riffs from other songs seamlessly integrated to make one great song.
Megadeth. Good Mourning Black Friday🤘
Joe is the Man.
I just said you guys needed some Dust Bowl. Thanks for listening. 😀
Check out joe bonamassa Mountain Time live at Albert hall
I'll play the blues for you!!!
Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues
stop sleeping on this classic!
You should listen to some of his colabs with Jimmy Barnes which will then lead you too Jimmy's band "Cold Chisel". Undoubtedly one of Australia's most iconic bands
Joe live is always better. His soul is incredible
If you don't do any other Joe B song, you need to take in his collaboration with Beth Hart on "I'll take care of you". The outro is the single best guitar solo ever, IMHO. Certainly the most emotive I've ever heard. It's the perfect compliment to Hart's vocals.
He does another live version of this song, from Joe Bonamassa Live From The Beacon Theatre. It totally rocks.
Joe played live with BB King when he was 12 years old
Guys, just got paid live at royal Albert hall, mixes ZZ Top, white snake and zeppelin. You will like it. There is couple versions, best one s 11:56 long
Joe Bonamassa's "Going Down" on stage at the Greek theater is unbeatable.
Saw a show he did in Md.
Fire !
You should review burning hell at the rockpalast that a hell of a song! A pure genius.
Do the Last Matador of Bayonne, Album version. It is Amazing.
You really need to check out Beth Hart, who has recorded a couple of albums with Joe, and there are several videos out there with Beth and Joe live.
♥️✌🏼😎
That’s a fiddle my doods 😉
Treat yourselves and check out Joe and Beth Hart “I’d rather go blind” live in Amsterdam.
I’m sure it’s probably been mentioned before already, but Joe B plays some funky stuff too. Check out the band Rock Candy Funk Party if you’re interested. Good stuff.
This DVD, live from Vienna Opera House and Live at The Beacon Theater are must watch. His guitar playing is phenomenal...I think he's Top 5 greatest living guitar players, EASY. The first album with his side project Black Country Communion is equally as impressive, especially Song For Yesterday from the Live Europe DVD
Also look up Joe B and Beth Hart collaboration
The more recent songs that you've reviewed are great, but not typical JB. I highy recommend his videos from the Greek theater in LA, when he paid tribute to the Three Kings, BB, Albert and Freddy.
You should try "Taken The Hit" from Rockpalaste by Bonamassa, it's him when he was younger, and that whole concert is amazing.
@Joe Bonamassa I liked the Rockpalaste concert so much I bought it, he's an American treasure. I also like his vids about guitars.
Come on guys.. Lets see you react to some Peter Gabriel!
Digging y'all's reactions👍. You guys should do a reaction on vintage Joe B. Check out "Takin the Hit" live at Rockplast.
This was great. 3 words: Tedeschi Trucks Band. Tedeschi Trucks Band. Tedeschi Trucks Band...
It's time for another country reaction.... ian munsic/ Cody Johnson - long live cowgirls
Lenny Castro on percussions, played with numerous musicians, always in demand.
Joe and Tina Guo !!!
The struggle should grant you more time in a Just world unless we’re going somewhere dope
You gotta do his “Dislocated Boy” … c’mon..ya wanna 😉
Looking through your videos i cant find and reactions to any jellyroll songs. You should review jellyroll- save me & creature. 2 different songs there.
Sloe Gin by Joe Bonamassa....live at red rocks
Ballad of John Henry 🤘
Ratt- You’re In Love
I would love to see you 2 react to "1984" by Slaughter To Prevail.
Roy Buchanan FIVE STRING BLUES. dig, I'm taking you underground.
John Mayer Trio does some solid blues!
Ocean is a masterpiece!! Not bluesy, just pure musicianship
Joe B is a far better blues man
@@tcafan opinion of personal preference is irrelevant. My point was to show them more blues.
Live at Carnegie
